World Rowing Championships 1986 lightweight mens single sculls final in Nottingham, Great Britain
A great race, between a fast starting sculler (Antonie) and a fast finisher (Eltang). Eltang was 2 times world champion at this stage. Antonie would go on to win an olympic gold medal (in heavyweight 2x). Also Van Belleghem would go on to become world champion the year after this.
