@@kellabdjfoo yeah thats true but maybe not in this AU.. at least if they are so nice and tolerant to monsters they've never seen before they defenetly couldn't have been bad people right? I mean instead of freaking out about a literal walking talking skeleton they casually asked who tf sans was and then when they saw the gang they were like "oh they seem nice".... no way such people can knowingly abuse a child at least not in my opinion. Maybe neglect without realising they are neglecting her.. and while that could count as abuse but i dont think they would since they seemed to miss her greatly.. and it was defenetly not physical.
