Madam today is a great day for me. I could locate your videos on UA-cam. You are an excellent teacher. You are able to sense the need of the student and accordingly you are framing your lectures. 🙏
Just came across a crunchy new translation for the Yoga Sutras, your videos help a lot to understand the pronunciation. I think I might just learn Sanskrit.
Thanks for the video, by far the best teaching on how to articulate the last vowel. What's special for the long r, short l, and long l ? I also saw some other video shows long r and short l but not long l. Quite confusing
Thank you! The long r, and both the ls are very rarely used. The l is pronounced like the l sound in 'klingon' with the tongue curling up. This sound is there in many Indian languages like marathi. The long versions of r and l are just the same sounds with more emphasis. Hope this helps 🙏
These are vowels. They are pure sounds made up only of svara. lri is three sounds - l + r + i. Here l and r are consonants and i is the vowel. Hope this makes sense 🙏
Thank you, dear teacher. Love your way of teaching. Makes it fun
What an excellent teacher! I'm so grateful for this. Namaste Teacherji 🙏
