- ACL surgery cost has been a factor which deters a lot of athletes from getting treatment done. ACL surgery cost can grossly vary from 40000 INR to 2,00,000 INR depending on a lot of factors. Most common factors responsible for this variation are :
1. Cost of implant - Screw vs Loop; Indian vs Imported implants; Internal Bracing(FibreTape)
2. Treatment of associated injuries: Injuries associated with ACL tear. PCL, MCL, PLC injuries. Meniscal injuries
3. Hospital where the services are availed: The prices can vary as per package provided at the hospital.
4. Length of stay: Can make lot of differences. Usually cases with multiple injuries tend to have a longer stay as compared to a simple ACL injury.
5. Investigations : Radiological and Pre-anaesthesia evaluation may entail hidden costs

If u play injury is bound to happen, get it operated if your doctor agrees to diagnosis of complete acl tear and u have instability

@@drmilindtanwar Sir actually in MRI report doctor found compelte AcL tear and meniscus tear but Our doctor only reconstruct the Acl.....they said that the mensicus is found healthy their is not need to repair....
but as i know 3 grade meniscus tear is so complex

⚫ ACL is not visualized. Buckling of PCL is noted. ⚫STIR and PD linear hyperintense signal changes are seen in posterior horn of lateral
meniscus STIR and PD linear hyperintense signal changes are seen in anterior & posterior horns of medial meniscus extends up to articular surface.
Mild joint effusion is seen.
No bone contusion is seen..
⚫ Cartilage covering the articular surfaces are normal in thickness and signal intensity. Both lateral and medial collateral ligaments are intact.
. Soft tissues around the knee joint are normal.
IMPRESSION:
Suggestive of complete ACL tear. Grade III injury of anterior horn of lateral meniscus & anterior & posterior horns of medial meniscus.

Usually as per literature, ACL surgery should be done anytime from 4 to 6 weeks after injury. In case associated with other injuries, the orthopaedic surgeon will decide.
