It's an unblockable super move that has super armor. At that point, you're only option is to pray that you don't get hit.

A glitch you can do. Usually you can’t be on one with some characters, but if you start matchmaking and then exit cue, you should be allowed to play on day maps.
My man helped me out on Jump Force, the combos with the Jojo characters be having my friends not even want to fight me lol, learning from the master 🙏🔥🔥

At launch the people who defended this game said that it has good gameplay. The fact that super moves have super armor, side step is nigh-useless, the counter system is so broken that you can escape mid-combo by mashing square or block, the awakening animation provides full invincibility and knock-back, and certain assists are so broken that blocking them can lead to having your guard broken. This game is so broken that it makes Xenoverse 1 look like Tekken 7. The only saving grace is playable Seto Kaiba.
Yet, these videos are funny to watch because of how broken it is, and Berto always finds himself fighting the worse types of people.

if they do a perfect smash they will follow you if you sidestep, the best option is to backstep but sometimes it’s not safe against spammers.

Papa, I'm sorry my friend, but ya gotta understand that Jump Force is a broken game, admittedly one that can be very fun casually. The problem you have with the games mechanics, like sidestepping being worthless, or being able to swap characters as your being hit, is a core part of the problem this game has, a lack of any real depth in favor of chase mechanics.
tl;dr the game ain't even remotely competitive, you'll probably enjoy it more if you accept that, at least in my opinion
As an aside, I'd still love to play you sometime, this game is 1000% more fun when its not jackass ranked
They said from the beginning they don’t want this game to be competitive, so idk why anyone would take it that way

Papa Berto, which between the two do you prefer better and which is "more toxic" ("Kill me." "Later."): My Hero Academia: My Hero One's Justice or Jump Force? I myself have conflicted about this choice myself, including how I see how cheesy the competitive players are and a pop up of a video saying how Jump Force doesn't have a good future, complete with a poll stating that more people move on from the game than stick to it. It makes me feel tense thinking about, especially since my dad is already looking for the RAM to have the computer fit the game's requirements without the game crashing on the normal computer. I'm beginning to regret missing out on asking Dad for it when he was looking for the game's "Switch port", and yes, I know it doesn't have a Switch port and it likely won't get anytime soon with it's possible and very likely (if not inevitable) failure.

Blackbeards black vortex powers can work on you even if sidestepped cause it's pulling you in, so it's impossible to sidestep or get around because he's just inpenetrable while it's in effect. I say that's still BS, but that's how you know how to deal with it.
With that said, I still enjoy the salt. Gameplay was satisfying as fuck to watch and the comebacks were top-tier. Just try not to overdo it or you'll end up with high blood pressure or something 😆

you sidestepped but you totally did not wait for it to be over man. That move takes about 2 seconds to finish. I know because I'm a Blackbeard player and that move is really easy to deal with, you just don't find a lot of Blackbeards on ranked.

It sucks that everybody online picks the same characters because if you had more experience against Blackbeard he wouldn't have taken that first game. I do agree that this man was cheesy as fuck, trust me, I don't use Blackbeard like he does. I don't know how wide the range of the move is but don't be immediately in front of him, I think behind him is safe, the move is pretty easy to interrupt relatively. I think Rukia's ice is worse because you cant do shit to her when she's doing that basically, but with Blackbeard he can't assist when he does that.
At least Dio has resistance to all his characters, especially blackbeard
