I'm really sorry the video ended up being so long :( I just wanted to make sure I went through things thoroughly. Guess I was a bit too thorough. Here's what I think are the best
weapon mods ranked, so you guys have agood reference point, however it really does depend\so ultimately I recommend testing things on your own. Also forgot to mention gravediggers frenzy which is 50% Crit damage for 5 seconds on a 10 second ICD. Good if you land crits, only for that ST dam.
Firepower Build : Killing Spree>Fortress>Embalmers(depends)>deadly disturbance(if landing crits)>concentration blast>t3 bone shrapnel (if you land crits)>t2 bone shrapnel>anomaly enhancement>shadow comet>t3 damage link>gravediggers frenzy(if you land crits)>t3 storm whip>t3 claymore torrent

Proliferation can be combined with anomaly mutation to spread loads of status effects to nearby enemies if status builds ever become super meta
They need to add a firing range. To test weapon damage

My friend and I found out that Death Chain and Damage Link work together, so the damage that Death Chains does will be shared by Damage Link. He says that it works very well and that it’s carrying him in higher WT stuff
Been running this for most of my first run through the game. Changed it to ultimate damage link off a legendary.

Little trick for moaning winds is that you can use all your ammo in the clip on your secondary weapon and before it reloads just put it away and every 8 seconds you can just pull out that gun get the damage effect and put it away again before it finishes reloading and you will have it repeat that forever unless you accidentally reload the gun in which case you can just use all the ammo in the clip again when there is some down time or just naturally using it. There is a video of a guy using it in that fashion on a devastator and its pretty sick.

i tested.. fatal symbiant + killing spree... ON A TRICKSTER ... that shit is broken.. it’s pretty much a bulwark with more damage .. that shoots faster ....i also tried it with embalmers rage and it was okay too, but i think dark sacrifice.. well fatal symbiant as a wep is better for techno / pyro more so techni

Ravenous Locusts was kind of overlooked in my opinion can by pass some sustain mods with it on a gun each locust applies life steal and will leave you at max health more often than not even with packs of mobs on ya. Really good videos !

Im using brain eater with grand opening on a bolt action sniper with 1 bullet magazine. This allows me to never have to reload and always have aoe blast damage . This thing wrecks elites so fast

Grand Opening + Bone Shrapnel on a One Shot Rifle is sick.
Not the most efficient build, but every shot is a nuke so it's fun.
I'd look up how the mind link damage mod works. It's not how you think. Essentially shoot the strongest enemy and on each proc a % that enemies dmg is dealt to 5 nearby enemies.
You need to calculate storm whips icd against other longer damage mods with a 1s cd that means per second it actually deals more damage then alot of other raw damage mods

I run blighted rounds on 92.6k FP tactical hells ranger AR. Gun mods are Killing Spree 3 and Bone Shrapnel 2. Armor mods are King Slayer 3, Euthinaser 3, Sharp Eye 3, Captain Hunter 3, Bloodlust 2, Trick Up the Sleeve 1, Spare Mag 1, Icicle Storm 3, Mitigation from Death 2, Emergency Stance 2. I am destroying CT15 all golds and never dying.
Resistance is resistance to status. It’s slight, but when you Freeze or Status an Elite repeatedly the enemy will be stunned slightly less the more frequently they’ve been hit. I can’t say I tested this extensively, but I felt like Resistance Breaker allowed me more frequent full length stuns.
Status resistance and anomaly resistance are two separate things.
@@NickTew Honestly, I know this. The mod doesn’t say it is one or the other. It just says resistance. If it is supposed to be just Anomaly res I wish it said that. I can’t say I’d be surprised if my feeling like freeze was behaving better wasn’t down to other gear changes happening around the time I used the weapon with that too.
Deadly Disturbance for me, the explosion can stun Alpha Perforo which saved me many times :)
The dmg on it is so good its hard to drop tbh...

@@chrisaguilar1410 Well, I’m also pair it with Bone Sharpnel too lol. DD for bosses and BS for mobs. This pair shreds ct15. Now I’m farming for killing spree. Very excited to try it with DD for melting bosses.

Mark of the stake + pinball are actually quite good with Overheat on the pyro.
It basically puts everything you touch on an Infinite DoT until they’re dead.
And you don’t need to rely on other abilities to re-apply burn before spamming overheat.
Just reload and even the stragglers behind cover are going to die.

Shield maiden on shotguns. The 1s cooldown triggers per shot and shotguns shoot multiple projectiles per shot, resulting in insane amounts of shield per shot.
Really, really appreciate all the work you've put into this - such a valuable resource, for any player.

I dont think people realize how absolutely awful it feels to aim with a controller in this game especially on console. Embalmers rage over killing spree all day until hopefully they fix their broken controller aim assist :(
Yeah it's horrible.
Rightttttt, shits awful an there's no fine tuning for ads it's just gaps, had to turn off aim assist to make it abit better but just feels like mouse accel is always on, an I'm useing an elite series 2 controller an still can't seem to make it normal
How are you gonna pair 2 Tier 3 Mods?
@@pacoaleman6083 don’t take off tier 3 mod since it comes with a tier 3 automatically! Take off the tier 1 mod that always comes with a legendary!
I don't understand how it got past play testing. I can't aim away from an enemy torso with the stick fully pushed up yet when I'm not aiming at an enemy my cursor flies all over the place...
I can’t believe I have had concentration blast in my tier 3s this entire time thinking it was shit and not touching it 😂 thanks for this tips man I am gonna be ripping through these cts in no time
killing spree, fortress---- bone shrapnel, grave diggers frenzy, shadow commet, enamly enhancement, deadly disturbance, damage link if u wanted, concentration blast storm whip isn't even that bad - fire power builds.
Im using the minefield and bone shrapnel, very nice mini explosion when they line up.

You're super easy to follow, you are right to what the title is advertising with 0 B.S.That is highly appreciated bud. I think I've seen just about all the Tech and Pryo videos you've made. I tend to find little tweaks for my playstyle but overall your builds are damn good. Will hafta check out your other videos. Thanks again for great content. btw resistance breaker is a 5% dps increase on elites based on testing so its ok, on both anomaly and bullets builds but not that great since other mods give far more than 5%, useless on firepower builds without special bullets.
I haven't thoroughly tested it but based on what I noticed when using anomalic caliber that seems about right but I'm not certain
@@NickTew some redit user tested and came up with 15% resistance on elites base value that seems to be flat all over them which fits since 35% of 15% is roughly 5%
EASIEST/ FASTEST way to build "custom" purple pieces...*there is randomness involved if you don't level your alt.
*Make alt of class you want gear for
*Do prouloge
*Take high level items out of stash to sell on alt
*Buy greens with "main" Stat you want (firepower, anomaly, cooldown..etc)**if you want to see all 3 stats on the green gear at Rift Town vendor instead of getting random rolls when you level it, you have to level your alt up some.
*Put greens in stash
*Use main to level gear (random additional stats,, get a small choice of mods)...
I have my pyro main and 3 pyro alts so I can raid the Rift Town merchant 4 times every 30 minutes for greens.
Ultimate damage link plus chains absolutely wrecks.
Chains will proc multiple enemies.
I don't know if anyone said, but the Anomaly bombs that take forever? You can shoot them to blow them up when you want. Made it go from ...meh to pretty useful to me.
Anyone else like me thought that was their Discord alerts going off?
I'm running Death Chains and Freeze it's O.P the death chains rips their health down and combined with freeze it makes light work of all enemies even bosses when I use my fire bullets. I highly suggest using Death Chains it's DoT is brilliant
Only just starting Expiditions. Just put death chains on my AR. Hoping it helps to get me to the next world tier.

I disagree with the brain-eater mod analysis. Try putting it on a sniper rifle one shot variant coupled with any cc mod like slow, freeze, or even damage mods like claymore or storm whip and let it do it's magic. It's great as a secondary weapon to kill bosses with weak spots and a lot of health. Anyone who played destiny will have that nostalgic feeling of using whisper of the worm on big bosses.
I always feel bad because my friends ask me how I hit so hard and I always say just skill lol than I tell them your channel and the next day they are doing just as good. Than I don’t feel so bad haha. Hope they subscribe I’ve sent many people since the division to follow you. Cheers nick...

Great vids and info. Kinetic Stomp is my gem, it is consistently my highest damage output. I play trickster AR, I live in the thick of it.
Also is it possible u could make a status video alot of people dont understand them and how they affect the fight, u could discuss what enemy usually apply a certain type of status and how to cleanse the effect. This would be very helpful
I think as well understanding if there's any value in investing into the various mods that do x% damage based on your AP or RP

Essence Thief got me through lots of boss fights. It's like being a weak Technomancer. Since Tricksters mainly rely on kills, big bullet sponges can end up being a problem.
Fortress + anomaly enhancement
Or
Killing spree + gravediggers frenzy
Or
Ultimate (ash, toxic, bleed, freeze) + anomaly mutation
These are my combos I run...
Proliferation + burst of decay + toxic lead = unlimited twisted rounds on anything with decent mag size btw

Try to get 'Storm Whip' and 'Strings Of Gauss' on the same gun. Best combo I've tried.
Its amazing i have thunder bird and the pistol that has gauss on it both set with the thunder just waiting for one more lego with thinder for me to place gauess then imma make my trickster. With rounds skill and that lighting dash just cause lol

Death Chains ÷ Strings of Gauss = better crowd control. I run these on my Pyromancer with infinite Volcanoc round s.

A shotgun with the T3 claymore mod can decimate. Even regular Claymore on a shotgun can proc on multiple enemies
I lost count of how many runs winter blast has allowed me to drag below average players through a run especially when your giving them 40% bump in damage anytime you use toxic and with the 35% health to teammates everytime it breaks/replaced by a new 1,and if you can't soak up a lot damage on solo, but if your on with decent players who don't need a static target, you will or should at least eventually be moving on.
The only use for proliferation would be to help spread burn then hit overkill but it doesn't seem to spread well enough to be viable.
What's your AP Technomancer build? I want to make one but haven't had time to research and put one together.

Equally insane is Legendary Minefield and Killing Spree. Instead of one big Bone Shrapnel you get five small ones that collectively hurt more.
@@EliteSnowPirate The thing is with minefield, the mines take time to drop down and explode. Many times, the enemies move away from that position before the explosion. Also sometimes, you aren't really confident that the mines will kill the other enemies, so you have to spend a few seconds waiting for them to drop down and explode. Bone sharpenel however, is instantaneous dmg.
@@mleong75 I get that, it’s definitely not top tier. It is very viable though. Specifically legendary minefield because same as bone shrapnel it gives you “On crit” instead of “On kill”. Some of the larger enemies have a bizarre interaction with this because the mines explode on contact with anything. Since ribcage shots spawn the mines on an Alpha Perfero the monsters arms tend to contact the mines as they spawn. The mod has it’s moments where that extra damage it has a chance to do comes up front and center.

Hey that was a great video! Length was fine, can listen to it while running some farming hunts. Had a question that wasn't covered, might be obvious but I haven't been able to be sure or not. Do mods on one weapon affect all weapons? Like, bone shrapnel on a LMG, would say a shotgun without the mod on it share the effect? Or would both weapons need the mod to each get the effect? Thanks much for your time!

I'm gonna be honest. Not getting a single guaranteed legendary for at least CT10 or above is kind of ridiculous. I'm farming CT14s and 4 expeditions in and not a single legendary.
Sell your iron and leathers to Bailey, then buy titanium from Bailey, go to Tiago and sell titanium for drop pod resources. Use that to buy legendary!
@@leehyunsong7001 that's great for the earlier tiers. Once you get into the higher challenge tiers the trade off drops significantly. It's much more useful to just complete a tier 15 for 75k resources than to sell titanium. Also Tiagos store is rendered useless at the end as well, since his legendaries don't rotate. Once you've purchased all of them, that's it. As of now. Tiagos legendary shop should rotate, at the very least weekly.

@@nickharris5993 literally every other looters shooter I can think of has rotating stock so you can try and get something specific. Rather than spending hours upon hours trying to get a specific legendary out of a large pool of legendaries. Especially considering this game doesn't have dedicated loot drops from specific bosses. Like other games do. Your gambling every expedition. THATS pointless. Also, you watch any of this dudes videos? He plays non stop trying to farm and still doesn't have stuff he's looking for.
@@AAxClosure the games been out 2 weeks. Your not suppose to have everything. The point of a looter is having that huge drop lol and there isn't that large of a legendary pool right now. It's luck of the draw man and that's half the game. Rotating vendors would make replaying the end game dead if I could just wait for a legendary in the shop bc there's only a certain amount they could rotate.
I got Deadly Disturbance and Fortress on my Imploder. (Best weapon I have)
I am a pryo with out Volcanic rounds... ik ik its stupid. But with this gun I blow threw so much ammo with it my feed the flames can't keep up. But I'm using overheat and ash blast with feed the flames. To me I don't miss my Volcanic rounds.

I've had a lot of luck with Shadow Comet. It's not the best against humans that don't stack often. But with monsters they do. An you really see the damage scale to crazy numbers at the end of a Expo.
Lets be real. The Shadow Comet is arguably the best damage mod on the game. Its great for humans and monsters period.

I can confidently say that you are misinformed with how dark sacrifice works. I made multiple threads on reddit on how this mod works. It gives 75% weapon damage as soon as combat starts for the entire duration. It drains hp the entire time you are in combat until it has drained 50% of your max hp, and then it stops draining. The bug in Dark Sacrifixr is that it doesn't stack weapon damage with many other weapon damage increase effects, especially those in the skill tree that are based off of skill activations. The only way to get more than 75% weapon damage when using that mod is to get a lot of passive increases to firepower or to get firepower from other stats that are effected by your passives or base stats. Such as armor to firepower, or anomaly power to firepower, or health regen to firepower.
Dude riccochet is amazing especialy if you use it with say the lighting from thunder bird cause when riccochet it procs again the lighting

I can confirm that Judgment Enforcer (Tier III) is utter crap. I tried this at WT14 with a legendary pistol that did some 570 dmg per shot, and the reloads would deal 1374 damage to all targets I had damaged, which leads me to believe that enemy armor applies to this mod. Either this thing is bugged, or it needs a serious revamp.
Totally down with it but Wrath of Molock is amazing CC. That s*** takes out mobs like a baws!

I’m an older player (56) and watch all your videos. What weapons are those tier 3 mods on? On my trickster I can clear tier 7 expeditions but my time is very bad but I do over 8 million damage. No tier 3 mods. I follow your builds, frustrating I can’t solo stuff without taking forever. I’m wt 11
My question is whether I should be using Embalmers Rage or Killing Spree with my Bone Shrapnel burst AR?
Rolled my perfect blue AR up to purple and I got improved burning bullets which isnt useless but well see how long it takes me to not die on ct 11 oh and I still havent found toxic lead, unbelievable. The rng in this game is terrible

Hi Nick thanks for the great video. Just wondering if you know in regards to killing spree whether the 3 stack would apply on an aoe kill, say with bone shrapnel. Or does it need to be 3 single targets individually killed by that guns bullets only? Thanks.
nomatter what i put on my trickster my damage is just abysmal PCF nerfing everything based off of streamers makes it so much harder for the other 98% of the player base.
