Yellowtusk, feeling depression, found out why Xiangliu brought them back. Xiangliu can't let him tell the others, but he didn't want to harm Yellowtusk because he loved him. The Nine-Headed Snake Demon accidentally triggered Yellowtusk and made him remember the past... Which he didn't want to remember because of the scroll.
Chang'e, Macaque, and Wukong all felt that connection when Yellowtusk called out for help. But since Macaque can basically see the past and present, he understood the situation...
Wukong can't do anything right now because he and the others are gathering the stones. Meanwhile, Chang'e and Macaque stayed behind to handle the brotherhood from harming the citizens... With nezha and Iron Fan's help. Though Macaque told them that Yellowtusk needed help...
