How mysteriously yet effectively God works is mind-boggling and just brings me to my knees. To think that the pastor that Phil heard speaking was able to be part of drawing him to Christ and now God is able to use Phil to impact yet another person. It's a chain reaction helping to break the chains of sin of millions of lost souls. Great video!

I am 68 , I am still seeking to know God. I was raised in a Christian home never questioned that I was a Christian. Found in my 40s that I didn’t have a real concept of the meaning of being Christian. I actually began to read the Bible and read the entire book, even the parts that didn’t seem relevant, not selected books or passages. That is when I began really seeing and understanding who God is. It was in my 50s I realized I didn’t understand who Jesus really was. I went back to the Bible and saw the Trinity in Genesis 1. In the beginning God.... in the original language Elohim ( God) is both a singular and plural word. Gen:1:1 And God ( Father )SAID ( the Word is Jesus John 1:1) and the Spirit ( the Holy Spirit) was hovering over the waters. Genesis 1:26 God said “ Let Us make man in Our own image in Our likeness,”. Who is he talking to if not the Trinity, who else creates except God? The whole thing made sense.

I have investigated, I believe in God but I've prayed and prayed and things just haven't improved
Are you a truly born again Christian? If so, if you aren't seeing improvement then it could be many things. As a Christian, the times that I feel spiritually dry it's when I'm trying to do this Christian walk on my own. So ask yourself if you are involved in Christian community, where you are in discipleship with other Christian brothers. Guys to hold you accountable, fight sin together, pray together, encourage each other and so on. Or when things don't improve it could be that we are not spending time in pray or in God's word on a regular basis. Or, you could be holding onto a particular sin that you aren't willing to give up yet. Pornography, getting drunk, sex etc.
However sometimes people don't see any growth because they are not truly saved, they are not actually born again. Many people believe THAT God exists, intellectually in their minds but they never fully surrendered their lives to God and put their complete trust in him and therefore don't have a real relationship with God. Even demons and satan believe THAT God exists.
Just some things to think about.

Christianity is not an invention to answer the biggest questions in life (origin, purpose, meaning,etc) that we have. WE have those questions imbedded in our souls because that’s how our Creator appoints us to Jesus Christ. Him and only Him have the answers to those questions.
Can the deity of Christ be authenticated?
Not by the flesh, for the flesh has no inheritance within the Kingdom of God, and the flesh knows nothing of spiritual matters. So then your faith must be focused on the unseen... *(See Below Please)*
This is how we know that the Bible is the absolute Truth!

Truth is not merely what a person thinks. A Humanist is how they are. You will know them by their works. There is no deception with a Humanist. God is not a deceiver. Muslims think that there is one deity being evil. Therefore the belief in a deity is not the right criteria. Truth is in me. We are one race. All of us die having blood in us. All of us are seperated from the life giver God killing life. All of us needs God in us to value life. All of us are born nude like any animal going to dust. All of us casts a shadow when light shines. People fool themselves thinking one person is better than another when they use a name. All is vanity. That is the truth. I am your meeting. Learn from me and live. The Spirit that inspired the Bible is in the patient long suffering peaceful Sheiks. The words of God are in their writings and the writings of the east Indians, Buddhists, Japanese and American Indians too. That Spirit is in the furries, Bronies and zoosexuals who find rest in the creatures God made. God's Spirit is in people who don't terrorize others working out their own salvation. How can people doubt the evidence that is around us? We come into a gift that God made with nothing. Nothing made the something that we come into with nothing? God who made life did not make death. The illusion of evolution could not be had there be no death. God as he is, is fire to our fallen bodies. That is why he stays hidden from us like he stays hidden. He is not ready to make all things new. All things as we know them will be burned up when he is seen as he is.

That salvation is not such that we can earn, or work for, but it is by the Grace of God through our faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved, and saved we are not by any other means. In the West, where the mass majority of people are part of the Abrahamic faith tradition with one God, the concept of polytheism is nothing more than fantasy or mythology worthy of comic book material.
We MUST be careful not to count Christianity as just another religion to be added to the rest. For God makes it clear, "Thou shall have no other gods before thee!". God does not support freedom of religion, for which we in America hold so dearly, as one of our freedoms, that pretty much allow the worship of whatever god one may bring into the country or create within ones head... Doesn't even have to be a relative of the truth.
Jesus says, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life", there is no other way, nor truth to be found.
The American Indian, had their own religion(s), for instance the Sioux, religion can be found in a book called "Fools Crow". I own a copy of it, given to me in South Dakota by a Lakota who had been adopted into a prominent well known indian family, can't remember if it was the White Cloud, or Red Cloud family, I get the two mixed up, and my memory fades as time passes.
I think that when comparing religious beliefs, we must be careful not to say, "it's close enough to Christianity, to count as a form of Christianity".
It is written in the Word of God, _"I am God, there is no other, I am God, there are none like Me; Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times, that which is not yet done. My council shall stand, and I shall do all that I please."_
God only provided One Word, and if the religions of the Word do not match His Word, then they are only in the likeness, whereas an alternative image is created. We must make sure that the Christ the we believe in, matches the Christ within the Word of God.
If you would like to continue the talk, let me know, I love God, and I believe in Jesus Christ, and accept the Word of God as the absolute truth. If we build our faith in the Word of God (Bible), then no other opinion, or belief can steal our faith away. But, if we build our faith on word of mouth, than as easily as one can be converted towards, one can as well, be converted away. Jesus wants us to establish our faith only on the Word of God.
With all due respect to the gentleman in this video, your choice to believe, and to have faith in a Deity (Christ) does't make it true. Just because you / we think something is true doesn't mean it's true. Human reason is incapable of providing sufficient rational grounds to justify either the belief that God exists or the belief that God does not exist. It's irrational to make a legitimate claim with out empirical evidence. You have every right to your beliefs, and it may be true to you, but you can't prove to others that what you think is true.
such a good point!! What I find to be great about Jesus is, that I do not need to prove him. My claim is that he is alive. Therefore he can prove himself! I do not need to share and defend arguments. I share the invitation to meet the living God Jesus by simply asking to meet him! It is prayer and looking for him (in the bible) where he WILL meet us!
