disney era power rangers nice name! I too hold Disney era in high regards. Now I don't feel the feeling in the words of the rangers now a days. It feels as though they are just reading lines not much acting most of the time. I do enjoy Dino charge however.

Personally Lost Galaxy, Mighty Morphin & Dino Thunder were my favorite since those were the ones I actively watched the most. I even still have a tape of Lost Galaxy & the original Mighty Morphin movie...

If you add Mystic Force, I'm right there with you. I'd put it in MMPR(Consider Alien/Zeo to be part of the MMPR Storyline), then Lost Galaxy, Dino Thunder, & then Mysitc Force(Koragg just flat out was my favorite part of the show)

I don't give a shit guy fan polls say different than people you met (counting 10K plus votes). Space and Zeo are far from SPD and with most of the original cast or storyline. Space was the last great version of PR. Fuck Zeo even brought back Jason the OG red ranger fool. Again all the story arcs are the best. Alien Rangers, Ninja rangers, Evil Green, Gold Ranger, Lord Zed, the search for serpentera, 2 movies, and on and on and on. Wild force was terrible, Galaxy sucked, Fuck Dino thunder is riding of of Jason Frank (OG). LIsten kid if you never mailed in for a Power Ranger Fan club membership you got no ground.
When he was talking about Super Sentai for a second I was really hoping he would mention that Mghty Morphin was called Zyuranger and the white ranger was actually in Dai Ranger the one after Zyuranger. AND Dairanger did not have their own American reboot at all they skipped to Zeo which was called Ohranger (someone will read this eventually)

You should also do a history of the original counterpart of Power Ranger which is the Super Sentai. Some of the Super Sentai season are more darker and more mature than the Power Ranger adaptation.
Snoi Med Yup the RPM is better than the Go-Onger. IMO after RPM/Go-Onger the original super sentai is far more better than the Power Rangers.
Snoi Med I think Nininger and Ninja Steel are equally mediocre for different reasons... Nininger was just generic, and Ninja Steel is too confused on tone.

I remember when I was a kid, I got into power rangers from Dino Thunder. Knowing as I do now that Tommy Oliver was on the original team and then joined up with the Dino Thunder team is really cool to me and kind of explains why he seemed to be the strongest in that series. I guess that leaves an imprint for life, huh.

I still like Tommy more Jason was first and he wasn't a push over but. As the Green Ranger, Tommy whooped all five of the originals. Multiple times. Before they managed to break Rita's spell, I mean he even kicked them out of their own Zord lol. And became even more of a BADASS when he was given the role of leader and became the White Ranger. The other's were awesome too but there a reason Tommy stood out. Not to mention he became three more Rangers afterwards. Red Zeo, Red Turbo, and Black Dino.

Stann Lee was going to bring Super Sentai over, however that broke down. The first Power Rangers season was suppose to be previous season, but it was delayed.

Living in a westernized Asian country that's relatively close to Japan, we're quite fortunate to have grown up watching BOTH Super Sentai shows AND Power Rangers on TV.
For instance, we watched "Turbo Rangers" years before Saban adapted it into "Power Rangers Turbo".

I'll be honest, I really didn't watch Mighty Morphin power rangers. Not because I don't like it, I grew up at the time of Ninja Storm and Dino thunder. I know it's on Netflix but it will be a long process watching all of those episodes.
The same with me. And honestly the bits I did watch didn't appeal to me. These days I like Sentai more, partly because I don't have to wait a full two years to finish the season, and partly because most Sentai seasons managed to be serious and hilarious at the same time.

steveforprez03 I’m with you on Sentai being better than PR. Movie wasn’t a total bomb. $85 million gross on a $100 million budget is more like a disappointment than a bomb. Hasbro has the rights now so hopefully they’ll do better than Lion’s Gate. They did make at least one good Transformers movie while Lion’s Gate did make a good Judge Dredd movie but didn’t market it at all and it tanked. As for THIS PR movie, it wasn’t terrible or insulting but it wasn’t anything special either. I want more than that.

Tommy will always be the best ranger to me. I really liked Jason but, the green arc was "priceless". He kicked everybodies butt and destroyed the command center all by himself.

Power Rangers has been a major part of my life. It helped me deal with getting bullied in school and feeling alone. I write a lot of Power Rangers fan fiction, currently adapting several Sentai series & working on TEN original teams. QUESTION: Is there any continuity between all of these Power Rangers series? I think I watched the series until Power Rangers Turbo. So, when Zordon left, did he "pass the torch" to another leader who selected new rangers? What about that leader? And the next? Do they all tie together or are they all separate cannon stories?

there is continuity all the way up to in space. Then it goes off into their own stories that they sometimes try to tie in, but it's no longer one over arching story.
Just watch the episode "Passing the Torch" In Turbo to Power Rangers In Space. It'll answer that question. I highly recommend watching PR Time Force. Its awesome!!
