This message is so powerful!! I myself have dealt with rejection, self-harm for years, and trauma prior to my adoption and it is an incredibly humbling yet earth-shattering place to be in when you have to face yourself and your brokenness. But one thing I’ve learned is that I have to keep reminding myself of God’s love and his faithfulness to save me and continuously grab me out of that pit even when it’s self-inflicted. Thank you ladies at Better Together! I truly enjoying these nuggets of wisdom! And Mrs. Voskamp, my heart is with you and I know God’s hand of protection is on you and I SEE and HEAR you! Xoxoxo 💕💕

I'm 55, agoraphobic. I've gotten places in therapy that helped some. But I am so isolated. No friends except online. My hubby is at his wits end, although he is kind.
I wish I didn't feel like the unwanted mutt that was dumped in the desert to die. I'm on meds and have better days, but I'm pooped. This has been a long long 35+ year battle.
Please pray for me. For sisters, for friends, for breakthrough.

I so know what it’s like to be agoraphobic. It’s a very fearful and lonely existence. Most of my friends are online, too. We are not unwanted. We are deeply loved and treasured. Do what you can on good days. And learn to let that be enough. God Bless you, Sweet Sister!!!

Our church says people don't get us out of pits. There is a lot of abuse in the church. Noone stands up for the neglected and abused.

For each lie find a Bible verse that says the truth. Everytime a lying thought comes stump your foot and say NO! And repeat the truth from God's word. Set your feet on those verses. Jesus will help you! ❤️
