i met a lot of people in ireland like him, able to discuss experiences and emotions so directly. one of the many things i loved about my visit..felt so comfortable, b/c here in usa, folk, esp men, have such trouble discussing things like loss directly....this interviewer is so good so often. gives space for the folk to talk. no one in usa like that on tele.
In the middle of his memoir now, brilliant read. He talks about his family and wife being selfless and allowing him to pursue his sporting goals, but Jim himself is a selfless, honest man, he gives his players all of the credit. A lot of respect for him from Mayo.
