I'm glad I'm not the only one whose favourite Yonko is Big mom. Narratively she and her family and everything her existence has done to enrich the world and develop characters associated with her is just mindblowing. It's interesting, tragic, sad and different and frankly I don't think any Yonko could quite do what she has done to the series.

We never understood why lola didn't realise that big mom was angry at her for running away, well, maybe because her leaving had nothing to do with the alliance failing, but big moms past. If lola confronts big mom about this the truth will presumably come out.
We already have a way to defeat Big Mom, Oda has already outlines why Big Mom us so powerful. She has an outrageous amount of Ambient Haki surounding her body making her invulnerable. When Hyogoro was teaching Luffy about haki he outlines that people expel haki around their body naturally, and taught luffy about using that haki to project force. Being able to control and move anbient haki will allow you to push through Big Mom's defences
The way you analyze things is on a different level. You need to write a book and create a world of your own. Seriously.
It genuinely makes me happy that JB is so fascinated with Big Mom. I always thought she was a very interesting character, and for a while I even considered her my 2nd favorite yonko.

I still think Mother Carmel made herself into a homie that is living inside Big Mom. MC can't stand the picture breaking because it's the only picture she has of her true self. Remember when Big Mom snaps, she doesn't remember a damn thing... Think about it...
MC had the homie fruit, and had a plan to sell the kids including Linlin. You think she let herself get eaten by Linlin? She so easily let her big plans be foiled by a hungry and crazed child? Or did she see an even bigger opportunity for more power when she realized just how STRONG innately that Charlotte Linlin was? Did MC turn herself and the kiddos into homies...?
Also, Big Mom would have had to have actually EATEN a DF to gain its powers. Basic OP knowledge. Even Blackbeard did this with having several fruits at the ready by Whitebeard. This is what his crew does actively. They haul every kind of fruit around for when they successfully kill (or are witness to a killing of) any DF ability they are hunting. NO ONE in the history of One Piece has gained a DF ability WITHOUT eating the actual Devil Fruit.
So...What does this mean?
It means Mother Carmel is inside or a part of Linlin. The fruit wasn't passed on. You don't think Wapol with his Chomp Chomp fruit didn't eat any weak ass DF users? I mean, dude went after luffy and started chomping right away. Now Wapol is an idiot, but the precedent for obtaining any DF has been set since day 1 and has not deviated since. There are still rules in the One Piece world.
Also also, Big Mom has been continuously painted as being a victim that is taken advantage of and misunderstood/misdiagnosed. Her arc did not end yet. Her redemption is coming. Soon she will know the truth - then what?
Ultimately, I think someone will soon be in Wano that has a sort of "True Sight" DF ability and takes one look at Big Mom and says something like,
"Who is that woman?"
"Huh? Don't you know?! That's one of the Yonkou, Big Mom!"
"No...the other woman with her."

Maybe mother caramel Splitt up herself or better her soul into 4 main homies - Napoleon, Zeus and the sun( Prometheus, not sure) and rest part to take over someones soul and body. Big Mom ate mother Caramel, It is heavily implied. As she gained her devil fruit by eating her. She was on a hunger pang so she doesn't remember eating her. The only person who knows that is her Cook and He hasn't told her that in like 60 years, so I didn't think he will tell her now or in the near future. Until Oda wants her to know.
Since Caramel was a Cipher Pol agent...the revelation that the woman that BM regards as a saint might demoralize Charlotte Lin Lin and cause her immense mental break down, Carmel no longer her saint..but her betrayer, her Judas.

Big Mom is one of the Yonko we know the most about, so of course she's interesting. At the same time, more of her background story, maybe not just about her specifically but things involving her, can be explored. She's also one of the arc major (non-marine) enemies the Strawhats have yet to defeat, and that makes her even more compelling

I think the beauty of Big Mom's character is that she's flawed. People who just value power scaling over all else don't get the brilliance of this character who is layered in complexity. She's not likeable, she's not intimidating (well she is, but not as much as Kaido or even Shanks), but she sure as hell is FASCINATING

Remeber that Vegapunk invented artificial devil fruits specifically momosoke's, Vergo was the one who created the off-shoot smiles, which don't work as well, and only give partial transformations. So Vegapunks role in the story when he gets to this island will likely be to cure all the people who ate the bogus devil fruits.
I'd like to add something:
Kumadori's mother was also named "Mountain Hag" or something like that and is still working as a contract killer. What if she took that moniker from caramel, or what if the CP agencies are doing business with a whole group of mountain hags? The grandma with the Clone Clone Fruit is also giving me some Hag-y vibes. She might be a CP operative sent to open wano for weapons trading.

Big mom is Pluton. Oda even calls her the devil Lin Lin in this flashback. She is easily capable of destroying an island. Shirahoshi for the fishmen. The Kozuki and Zou for the minks, and big mom for the giants. Luffy is Joy Boy. No one would see it coming, super subtle foreshadowing, and it ties into the themes of overall story.
Loved this video man, definitely makes me look at big mom's place in the world on a larger scale. She really does fit beautifully into the story when we look at mother Carmel's influence in the world. Elbaf is gonna be unreal.

Could we have some speculation on the Pluton, haven't seen anything in a while.
My own personal theory would be something akin to Laputa. Referencing Ghibli's castle in the sky. Without spoiling too much there are many similarities between the royalty of Laputa and that of Alabasta. Within Castle in the Sky one of the flying cities crashed to the earth and they joined the people on the ground below them. Symbolically coming down from the sky was very humbling to the people of Laputa and I believe this could be compared to the royalty of Alabasta deciding to live with their people instead of the Celestial Dragons. Also many theorise that Pluton is located underneath Alabasta and where better to build your new kingdom than on the ruins of your previous.
Also in Castle in the sky Laputa is shown to hold great destructive power, which would support the possibility of it being an Ancient Weapon.
I would also like to mention that calling it ship could work depending on how Oda intends to portray it, an air ship for instance would work as well as any city that could "Sail the sky"

And as for my thoughts, probably Hajrudin will charge her seeking revenge for Beardfall and after they exchange an easy fight for Big Mom, Hajrudin, nearing his death bc of her, tells her that she also killed Carmel. Hence BM will stop for a second, allowing someone to take away Hajrudin and save his butt, then will black out or start destroyin shit all over the place sayin' "that's not true" or something like that. I mean Oda could go both ways with it, but I think he wants her to redeem herself, so I don't give much credit to the possibility of her dying.

I don't think Cipher Pol was present for her eating Mother Carmel because I believe they would've taken her instead of letting her roam and become a pirate. If anything they may have saw it as a chance to get her for free since Carmel couldn't collect payment for her.
This video aged well. Since Kaido has a son and Big Mom forms alliances with marriage we could see a wedding which Big Mom would then bring out the photo.

Big Mom has something that the other Yonkos don’t have. It’s something almost unorthodox like, the way she does things almost seem unpredictable and she’s a physcho
CP had to be on the island and possibly watching the whole thing go down because they were suppose to exchange custody of Linlin and the other Orphans that same day. I believe that they saw Linlin eat all those people while smiling like a titan and thought it was no way they could capture her.
If your theory were to happen, Kaido will for sure step in to save her. It is mentioned time and time again that kaido owes big mom a life debt. Emphasis in life. I'm sure she either saved his or his son's life or did something he can't repay for his entire life. What other way to repay such a debt other than saving her life?

I think Oda might go for something a little different than that... I think it is possible Big Mom knows the truth but wont admit it to herself and that is why she gets triggered by something happening to mother Caramel's mementos, because she remembers what she might have done. Streussen and big mom do not seem to interact directly in the whole arc and maybe it can be because he told big mom the truth (after a few years with her) and she refuses to face him/he is afraid to face her
This is my theory. I think BB with the right knowledge can take down Big Mom. Catarina has the Inu Inu no Mi. With the knowledge of Mother Carmel, this can make her vulnerable. I believe with the right crew and planned out efficiently because the BM pirates are no pushover, they can plan an assassination attempt.

I still stick with my old theory that katarina Devon will use her ninetails fruit to transform into mother caramel and take big moms head (along with Blackbeard pirates)
One crazy thought I had was what if the world government made a cyborg of mother Carmel.
It's not like she has never left the island before, don't forget that she was part of the Rocks Pirates at some point, which in itself must have had quite some duration of time, on top of going out to sea and becoming a pirate known to the world. She has spent a lot of time away from Whole Cake. The Wano Arc has made it very clear that we can't use the anime to fill in blanks in the story so that scene you mentioned can't be counted as having taken place so there's pretty much a guarantee that Cipher Pol wasn't on the island when she ate Mother Carmel. They are smart as you say so they might have put two and two together and come to the conclusin that she's dead but can't know how. That is something only known to the giants (or at least some of them). of Elbaf.
i'm all in for some more big mom developement, tho i really don't see her dying i do get the feeling once all this is done she'll be retired and our boy katakuri will return as the shining new captain of an allied force in the final war.. Kaido i'm 100% on his death, Blackbeard needs the fruit to even be a considered a threat to end of series Monkey D Luffy. I know it's unrelated but what i'm really interested to learn more about is the numbers, if little Oarz junior was one at one point and if they are the ones that brought together the different islands to create Wano way back when.

This is a great theory! I especially like that Hajrudin tells Big Mom everything, and accidentally starts the whole chaotic turn of the tide in the Straw Hats' favor.
