Thanks Damien! This vid is a VAST source of posing and composition solutions. One can have a dozen of them printed and try to repeat these solutions with the model. By the way, I used an old broken on-camera flash as a holder, glued a mirror on it, so that the model has some feedback from what I see in my viewfinder and correct her posture accordingly. Believe or not, but this cheap solution greatly improved the communication between the photographer and the model. Good luck!
Wow, what a beautiful portfolio of images. Simply the best I've come across in ages. The lighting, composition and feel to each image is a joy to sit back and marvel at. Lovegrove knocks it out of the park in each one. Truly inspirational for an amateur like me. Loved it!
love your style and work!! Have vent from Canon to Fuji my self, and I don't regret a second.. I also jus Phase One XF IQ160 butt it is the Fuji XT1 that impresses me the most! I have now ordered the XT2 an I am looking forward to gett it.
Here is my 2013 showreel. The set comprises portraits, figure in the landscape and art nude genres shot in various locations including Singapore, Jakarta, Rimini, Dusseldorf, Fuerteventura, Northampton, Bristol, and Manchester.
I like your style Damien. Thanks for taking the time to showcase some of your techniques for fellow photographers on UA-cam, your websites , and google plus.
Très beau travil et surtout quel talent!!! Si vous avez besoin d'un asistant, je veux bien quitter la France pour participer à vos sublimes projets photo!

Inspiring. I also tend to prefer your channel as a preference to the vast majority out there. Were you ever ex-beeb, you remind me of various people I have worked with? - especially how you talk about things and how you talk.
Hi there, sorry for the delay. Damien has been travelling a lot recently so has not had a chance to reply...but yes! He was a BBC camera man and lighting director for 14 years :)
