Just bought a webley raider 12 pcp quantum and did the same thing, adaptor was not pushed into the gun far enough, thanks Brian
An awesome video topic.
Airgun manufacturers oughta more do of them Foster quick connectors on PCPs. There are just so many different filler probes out there between manufacturers - from what I've heard and read. Luckily my only PCP (the Sig Virtus) has a quick connector - so I wasn't able to do this mistake myself.
But way cool of you to do a video of a mistake you did yourself. May save someone from a heart attack. 😁👍🏻
Well, at least you survived and learned. Notice: NEVER-EVER keep the hose on the carpet - carpets are FULL of hair, dust and other kinds of debris. The CLEANNESS is CRUCIAL thing when it comes to pumping a PCP gun.
Dumb by not reading and researching a lot before tackleing the job! First cock the Air rifle first leaving it cocked insert the probe with the little hole towards the butt of the rifle, make sure it's all the way in! Make sure all lines are tight and connections on the Air pump and not leaking first! Sometimes using a little plumbers tape on the connections first! The less air leak the faster better it will pump! Make sure you put slicone oil on the hand pump slide first and then after every 75 pumps and pump slow not fast like she says lol only pump 25 - 30 pumps and let cool few minutes. The first pumping you can do about 40 45 pumps then rest it few minutes. Or shell burn the rubber seals! It is slow take ur time can't rush hand pumps. Electric high pressure air compressors are faster but more exspensive! But better. Even they require silicone oil or something to run on. Don't get a oilless one. They don't last. All should rquire lubrication to run!Have fun with er! Kral is tops for the money, not an AVA. Kral runs circles around AVA! Cheap Chinese junk! Glad you did not get suckered into to that friend!!! Research first. And lots of it. Ed da pro snippin air man💥💪😎
I bought a cheap vevor to start with, but have really had a hard time researching a decent compressor that is not thousands of dollars. My buddy gifted me a Benjamin Kratos .25 that needed some love, and now I am hooked.
A little bit of silicone spray or grease on the o rings helps to keep the rubber in good condition, also it will be easier to push the probe in , 😁👍
Cheers mush
Thanks
That isn't a newbie mistake, it's just rather silly not to push it in properly.
Thanks for the advice, problem solved 👍
🤣😁👍
I’m having trouble getting my Hatsan vectis pcp to air up. I’m either missing something or it’s faulty any thoughts would be much appreciated
First few strokes should be hard and fast to seat the seals properly from an empty startpoint.
@@OldNavajoTricks I finally did get it working, I ended up getting a compressor for it.
@@jeremyxx11 Cool, I'm still saving for my first which is how I picked that up 👍😆
Scammers are all hand pump
Ffs
Which hand pump that I can buy to pump no more than 50 pumps to max on LCS Air Arms SK-19?
Can't find any reviews showing how many pumps using hand pumps except shooting videos.
The one I use is Kandar... But it takes more than 50 repetitions. The trick I use is to pump it fully more often. Don't let it go completely empty.
What I want is a car that can fly, go in the ocean, ride off road, cook my food, wash my clothes, etc.
Ain't going to happen.
What you're asking for is a magic wand
@@chrisford9045that car sounds quite possible if you ask me there is some nutcase out there who could get it done. 😂😂
Donkey
You took 5min to say something that could have only taken 5sec.... Push the valve in. Got it.
