Just a few minutes before this message appeared on my feed, I was captivated by Isaiah 25:9 “It will be said in that day, ‘Behold, this is our God, we have waited for Him and He will save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for Him and will be glad and rejoice in HIS salvation.” The Lord speaks to me about resting in Him more than anything else… and this was confirmation again to me this morning. The word picture of being twisted together intimately is so powerful and brought to my mind the time He gave me a word picture of He and I dancing together slowly and sweetly. I kept craining my neck, anxiously checking on those I love and care for, unable to rest in His sweet embrace…He would tenderly tilt my head back, assuring me He had already dispatched angels to rescue them… Resting in God- in Jesus- is so contrary to our natural way… the reminders to do so come frequently… resting/waiting… that is when the power flows…
