I feel I've walked some of the same roads you have of pain and questioning in the years following, and I wanted to tell you that your candor and honesty in your songwriting have been a blessing to me, through Pep Talks and all of your JUDAH. projects. They have given voice to my own loss and helped me to hear my own thought and emotions more clearly. Even more powerfully, they've spoken to the hope I find in the beautiful, death-defeating, unrelenting love of my truest Friend and Savior, Jesus.... "I don't know what I would do without you!" Yeah unfortunately. I have kids that have listened to him and follow him. They are going to wake up and hear curse words today from a fellow believer (Maybe). Interesting how his feelings control your content. We will be unsubscribing from all platforms. We will be praying for him and his journey. It's not that we do not like the music. Thank you for your vulnerability. Cuss words don’t bother me when used to enhance an emotion. Our passionate heart cries and prayers are what Jesus wants the most. It’s okay to tell Him how you really feel. Stay raw and true to yourself brother, your music and lyrics are a blessing to me.
When we go through a storm, the only thing we can do is turn to God and trust Him. We dont get to miss out on pain and suffering just because we are children of God, we go through it because we are humans. But the difference between us and the world is that we have Jesus to give our pain to. We can of course have tantrums and be angry with God when He feels absent, but where else can we turn? If we turn to the world we can get likes, hearts, words and stories of comfort to us, but we know in our hearts that the only love and comfort we need is from God. God will heal our pain in HIS time, not ours. All we can do is to stand firm, be courages, strong and WAIT. When a brother or sister suffer, we can pray for them and try not to judge them. ❤
I appreciate your material. I listen to it almost every day! Usually your songs are too much for me on the first listen through but then I get it on the 2nd or 3rd go. So much material packed in and it's hard to get all the subtleties the first time around. I prefer this version over the other, even though I think I understand your desire to be true to raw human emotion.
This one is not missing any emotion. Not one ounce. The other was silly & just to be rebellious & make people stumble. A miss but pray he will get it right next time. Honesty is great. Trying to offend is not.

But it's unhealthy expression which grieves the Spirit of God away, and it should not be encouraged. I would not say Judah was trying to be offensive or rebellious (I can't without more evidence), but that may have been the outcome regardless.

I could not find any info on the divorce and figured it was a rumor. Especially considering the music lately. Until this song that is.
