It makes sense to give you the base cereal, so you can add as much sugar as you want, rather than having a large amount of sugar forced on you.
I understand the not adding milk but:
I think the brick/biscuit types (Weetabix/Shredded Wheat) are normally eaten with warm/hot milk, making something closer to porridge. even shreddies work well with warm milk.
Weetabix is my husband's favourite cereal. He has 2 with milk and some kind of fruit added ( bananas, strawberries, blueberries etc... every morning for breakfast - sometimes has it for supper as well.
Weetabix with milk allow to soak for a bit till it softens and add honey & fruit. Lush.
I don't like cold weetabix, but if you mix them into hot milk you get a kind of wheat porridge that is tasty (but any remnants on the bowl harden like concrete, so wash up very quickly).
Guys you cant eat are cereal without milk amd are cereal is not fullnofnsugar as to give you the option of sprinkling sugar on top after youbput the milk over them if youbwish to have sugar i think youl enjoy are cereals alot more that way
Hey guys you've picked all the blandess cereals, we've got really nice cereals here, but as you've mentioned they're not laden with sugar!
Maybe better to do this again, but with the milk and add in some sugar since that's how we'd eat it.
You would not catch anyone eating Weetabix as is. I'm not a fan of that cereal, but I think it causes a negative bias not having the milk and preferably warm milk. I also think you should try the brands that are the same as the US. I currently living in the states and noticed the is a clear difference in flavour between US and UK version of cereal. Probs just look for the smaller boxes.
Weetabix is the UKs most popular cereal. I guess its because its super versatile. People have it with yogurt, fruit, honey, etc. It's common to have it with warm milk, and it becomes more of a porridge consistency, and then you can top it with whatever. I'm not super into it with cold milk.
Don't really understand the concept of kids or adults cereal? Why would you give a child a cereal packed with sugar?
Seeing as you already have the Weetabix, you should try it with warm milk and sugar or honey on it. It's actually delicious. All my babies had it from around 6 months old.
It absorbs much more milk than you think it will.
Weetabix with warm milk is great on a winter's day. Weetabix on its own is sooo dry
@@LuvNickynGina4ever who has weetabix on its own? Lol. But yeah, warm milk, honey and either blueberries or a chopped banana 😋
@@BurnCKC the ppl in the video obviously don't know how to eat weetabix 🙄 that's who i was referring to, while also defending weetabix, a great cereal when eaten correctly
I eat Weetabix with milk, but i out it at the top of the bowl with other cereals underneath it, so it only gets a bit of the milk, so it softens but doesn't just go to mush.
If you're having shredded wheat for breakfast, as soon as you get up, you put 2 in a bowl, cover with milk and then go get showered and dressed - when you're all ready for the day, you return to your shredded wheat and it's softened and ready for eating.
weetabix. Yes, you definitely put it. in a bowl and add milk. When I ate cereals it was one of my favourites. I used house hot milk
i think weetabix needs milk to break it down and moisten it. I think some people even have it with hot milk and sugar
Weetabix can be stirred to a oatmeal consistency while in milk and of course sugar is meant to be added
I don't quite get why you read how many of these should be eaten and then completely ignore what you've read, critiquing the uncomfortable mouthful. Should I come to US and review American pumpkin pie by eating an entire pumpkin, skinand all? It makes about as much sense. 🤔
You can put blueberries, banana or whatever fruit you want in tbe Bran Flakes. Agree about Shreddied Wheat Yuk.
Shreddies are my favourites, they are tasty without being too sugary, fairly substantial and keep you going for a good few hours. Perfect just before work. I do like chrunchy nut cornflakes but only have them on my days of.
Crunchy nut corn flakes is my go to, shreddies a second favourite. Basically mini wheetabix and shredded wheat. All needs milk to be better.
omg, you NEED milk & with Weetabix, Oatabix & Shredded wheat you need demerara sugar, honey or golden syrup- I love Jordan's
Ohh dear, cereals need milk!
I like Special K, it's worth trying and they have a few varieties. Porridge is also very popular and traditional. If you want more sugary stuff, Krave is like a chocolate-filled pillow. I think people like Crunchy Nut Cornflakes but I am not that keen. A good Muesli is very nice, as is Granola. I've not had Sugar Puffs since I was a kid, but remember liking them. I'm also a fan of Cheerios but I think you have those in the USA.
Bran Weetabix and porridge are eaten for health reasons not necessarily for their flavour.
We do rice krispies squares is what we call them
The way you've done this is kinda like trying a sandwich for the first time but its just bread without any filling and you're then like, "well sandwiches are clearly boring"
"bland flakes" 😂😂😂😆😄
The cultural difference here is that American cereals are breakfast desserts, whereas here they’re relatively healthy in comparison. You also needed to drench the Weetabix in a bowl of milk, soak it a bit, then maybe add sugar for added taste. Strange choices to taste test though, as there are far tastier ones like Frosties, Honey Nut Loops, Rice Krispies etc.
try irish candy
Sorry, but eating breakfast cereal dry out of the box is just weird. No wonder you thought they were bland.
You have picked the worse selection of cereals guys, we have much better ones
Thank you for liking and subscribing! What should we review next? 🇬🇧🥣
