I received one of those Property Deed Notices over the summer. I called the county tax appraisers office and verified that it was indeed a scam. Thanks for educating your listeners.
Really Good Shoe.. Hello from a Very Snowy Jersey. Patiently waiting to get out of here... And now thousands of Alexa's are answering.. Thanks Jerry. LOL... Have an Awesome 2022. Linda I love Pizza !!
I live on Tampa Bay ,and live in a flood zone,And the 37 years that we have lived here has never flooded or come close to flooding. And that wraps up another Mailbag Monday!
Good morning from Ohio! My family vacationed at the Village's this past summer and were in our late 30s. We really enjoyed it even though we aren't retirees. We chose to stay there because of the cost savings and we drove to Daytona one day, Orlando a few days for Disney with our kids and Clearwater another day. I found your channel while we were there and haven't missed a video since! Love watching you guys 😁
You guys are having so much fun! Love ❤️ seeing it. Jerry at 6:20… you both are rock stars! ✨ You guys made my morning. Thanks and blessed New Year to you, all your friends on UA-cam/at Villages and your family. 🎉🥳🎊
Happy New Year. I have been tuning into your episodes for about 6 months now because I enjoy your episodes. I moved from Minnesota to Corpus Christi Texas 14 years ago and have just finished renovating my forever retirement home and will plan to retire at the end of 2023, not moving anywhere but love your episodes, just letting you know that their are some of us that will not move to the villages but enjoy your shows.
We lived in TX for 18 years. We had a refrigerator in the garage and never had a problem. We just bought a refrigerator for the garage here in The Villages. We don’t anticipate any issues. Loved your joke, Gizmo! ❤️ Happy New Year!
OMG.... can we get Linda's pizza recipe? Please? Listening to Gizmo moaning was hilarious, but his joke cracked me up !!!!! Happy New Year Linda and Jerry ! Wishing you all the best !
I drove through The Villages on Friday and cheered as I went under those glorious signs on the bridges. Thought of you guys! It was Brownwood and I was impressed.
Happy New Year! And Yes I love the GOAT Tom Brady!! Go Bucs! And I agree that if the recipe for a dish is terrific don’t change it! You all are so much fun to watch. And love to Gizmo!!
Happy New Year to Jerry, Linda, and Gizmo!! Loved the story about Linda's late Dad's horn. My late Dad was career Navy, and he and my late Mom when they were younger would celebrate New Year's Eve with friends at the Chief's Club that was located on the Newport, R.I. Naval Base and my sister and I stayed home with Grandma. They always came home with horns, hats, etc.for us to play with which my sister and I looked so forward to getting those party trinkets and played with them all New Year's Day. Thought I saved one of those trinkets in my treasure box but I did not. What I did save which Linda might remember these was a Santa Claus pin that had a string you pull and his nose would light up. That pin has to be close to 60 years old. Linda, thanks for sharing that nice memory of your Dad. 🤗

Anyway, thanks for sharing so much about the Villages and your experiences. It’s always fun.
Absolutely agree with TRANSPORTATION! For $35 you get approximately three hours of your life back! Driving to and from the airport… Taking your life in your hands! It’s better to hug and kiss your family and friends in your driveway… And see them off safely from your home! Great idea for a final “goodbye gift“. You are doing a great service with your vlog!
Hi Jerry and Linda! Great show, we really enjoy them! Please let me know what your hot rod donut cutter is used for! My best guess…it cuts a ring to protect a sprinkler head?
The grass down here is very invasive. It can actually grow over your sprinklers. . To alleviate that, we place concrete donuts around the sprinkler then trim the grass as it grows over the donuts.

A friend of mine moved to the Villages this past September he is dumbfounded as to why we are still living in this "winter wonderland." Thanks for the info and Happy New Year!!!
Hey Jerry & Linda, We have a home in Marsh bend and we rent it out in the 6 or 7 months of the year in the winter. We usually stay there from April to August. The management company that runs it does charge 18% but they provide linen (sheets, towels) and (cleaning supplies) also they meet with the renters to check them in and check them out. They also have a cleaning service that comes in to clean which is charged to the renters. And they handle the Florida taxes for renting as well. Just an FYI to you guys. Love your show and we hope to meet you at some point.
Thank you Jerry and Linda you 2 are the next best thing to being there, had hopes of moving to Florida even though we were married there nearly 23 years ago just not in the cards as were stuck here the Adirondacks for perpetuity due to age and health catching up to us.

Here ya go! LINDA'S MEATLOAF CANDY (That's what Jerry calls it😁) 1 1/4 lbs ground beef or chuck 1 medium onion chopped 1/2 tsp. Salt 1/4 tsp. Pepper 1 tsp. Worchestershire sauce 1 tsp. Soy sauce 1 Tbsp A-1 steak sauce 1 Tbsp BBQ sauce 1 tsp. mustard 1 egg 1/2 sleeve of Town House crackers or Ritz TOPPING: 1/3 Cup Ketchup 3 Tbsp brown sugar Mix all ingredients. ( except topping) in a large bowl. Mold into a loaf. Mix ketchup and brown sugar to coat over the top of the loaf. The sauce goes on before putting it in the oven. Bake in a 1 1/2 qt. baking dish for 1 hour at 350°. (sometimes I add 1/2 stalk of finely chopped celery and or a packet of dry Lipton onion soup mix). Let it stand for 10 minutes or so. Enjoy!😋 Linda
Ha ha, Don't worry about the inside out shirt. I did that and ushered at church, I stood at the door and shook everyone's hand as they left. It was inside out and the tag was front..

Happy New Year to Linda Gizmo and Jerry now here’s a question for you Jerry , how many Alex devices do you think you activate? I was listening all about Tom Brady till you turned her off😂😂😂
Happy New Year and another great episode. I have a unique sense of humor and the question regarding having a refrigerator in the garage made me chuckle. Had you thought about it in time you could have answered “ Heck yes you can keep a refrigerator in the garage. Many folks in Kentucky and Indiana keep theirs on the front porch.” Have a great one.
There are also a number of people who will drive your car to the airport for a fee. We use Larry who drives our car to the airport and drives back and puts the car in our garage. Gets our car out and picks us up. Cheaper for more than one person. No driving around picking up or dropping off other passengers. Also at our times. No Three hour pickup tour of the Villages.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa when to asked alexis about football players it triggered mine ,,,and it was the same answer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so funny and caught me by surprise !!!!!
I grew up in central Florida. We always had a refrigerator in the garage. Keep it full if you can. Especially the freezer. If not, keep the balance of the freezer full of frozen milk jugs of water. This will keep the unit cold and from running the compressor too much.
HAPPY NEW YEAR Jerry, Linda and Gizzy. Great MBM as usual. It's unbelievable that there are no flies (I've seen maybe 5 in 8 years here) or mosquitoes. But I have had some no seeums on me on some of the golf courses. A pot bellied pig is considered a farm animal and they're not allowed here. I used to hear chickens on the first hole of Sweetgum before those families were evicted. Not part of TV... Looking forward to another great year of blogs and jokes...
Garage ready means the freezers have a small fan that will help it to run when the temperature in the garage or where ever your freezer is becomes too cold.
Good morning and Happy New Year! I never respond or order anything via unsolicited email, mail, phone, or people that come to my door. I also never donate to "charities" that I haven't researched. I work in cybersecurity and I'm hypervigilent, I sure wish everyone was. If it's too good to be true, it probably is. Take care!
Happy New Year!! Such reasonable prices for pick up all the way in TV! I heard Uber is charging $100s to go from MCO to WDW...yikes! Nice donut cutter...but what is the donut for?
Hey Jerry! Hey Linda! The scams get more realistic looking all the time. I got one in the mail last year that looked official, but a did a Google search and found it was a fake. Normally we love getting checks in the mail. Gotta be careful. :( BTW, when we visited in August, Spirit delayed our flight 5 hours. Workman made sure we were taken care of. As did our Villages Sales agent, Bobby Hannon, who was there to meet us in Brownwood at 11:30PM.
I love the fact Florida is flat! I'm from Kansas so I'm used to flat!! I'm not fond of hills and winding roads like Arkansas Tennessee Missouri have! Give me flat land!!! LoL!!
We have Canadians that come to our park in Arizona. They have to stay less than 6 months due to their health insurance. They have National healthcare and they buy travel insurance policies for here.
Haha I think you have heard the name Arnold Ziffel a few times deja vu 🤣 I mentioned previously that I named mine Arnold Ziffel after Green Acres- this was during the pot bellied trend in the 90’s I had one- George Clooney also had one named Max- he made it cool to have them! I went on to get a second pig. This was decades ago- I have moved on to more “traditional” pets like cats and dogs! But I loved them with my whole heart they are smart too!
Sometimes those scammers just record your voice because a lot of banks, etc use voice recognition. Amazon sells landline scam blockers. Highlighly recommend if you have a landline
REALLY ENJOYED THIS INFORMATIVE AND INTERESTING VIDEO. WE THINK THE SERVICE BY GROOME IS EXCELLENT FOR NEXT TIME WE VISIT RELATIVES IN WINIFRED. ENVIOUS OF YOUR LOVELY WEATHER IN THE VILLAGES COMPARED TO GREY SKIES AND RAIN IN IRELAND. REALLY FUN VIDEO TODAY, THANKS AGAIN AND HAPPY NEW YEAR. BERNARD AND CAROL.
You two do such a wonderful job! Have you guys considered starting more channels? I can see it now.... 7 channels to post new content on a daily basis.
My mother always said it was good luck if you found that you had put your clothes on inside out and if you did you should leave it on like that all day. LOL!
Weather in Minnesota so cold that when you breath deeply through your nose, your nostrils glue shut. My nephew in Indiana tells me the temp in North Vernon on Friday, January 7th, is predicted to be -8 degrees F. Aren’t you happy to be in The Villages? My iPad can predict exactly what I’m going to type. Scary. Happy New Year to you both.
I'm always in a better mood after watching your show!
I received one of those Property Deed Notices over the summer. I called the county tax appraisers office and verified that it was indeed a scam. Thanks for educating your listeners.

Hi Jerry and Linda, thanks for sharing another excellent Mailbag Monday video. No problems with cold weather here in Melbourne Australia at the moment, as we have been having a heatwave here. We are in mid-summer at the moment. I didn't see any meteor showers here lately, though I have received some long distance FM signals during meteor showers. The signals come up in bits and pieces and sometimes only last a few seconds. It can be quite tricky identifying the stations at times using that method. we get a lot of scam emails and phone calls here, though not letters so far. Here is one to watch for. When digital TV first started there were companies trying to sell digital TV antennas...no such thing, all antennas are the same. They tried the same with colour TV antennas many years ago. The only different standard TV antennas are ones for VHF or UHF, though many are combined with both. Interesting hearing about walking pigs down the street. I knew a person many years ago who took his pet blank panthers out for walks and he lived in Hawaii. Certainly one way to clear the sidewalk of pedestrians!!! Anyway, wishing you both the very best. Robert.
Wow, I did not know all that about the antennas. Interesting!
Debbie here. What is the donut used for? Making circles? Does it have something to do with the sprinklers? I have not seen anything like this. We do have an irrigation system.
Good Monday morning guys, another great video thanks!❤️🙏🇺🇸
Happy New Year and a healthy one too.....take care
Thank you guys for sharing. Happy New Year!!
2022 off to a great start! Fantastic show!

Happy New Year!! Such reasonable prices for pick up all the way in TV! I heard Uber is charging $100s to go from MCO to WDW...yikes! Nice donut cutter...but what is the donut for?
I love these videos very good!
Hey Jerry! Hey Linda! The scams get more realistic looking all the time. I got one in the mail last year that looked official, but a did a Google search and found it was a fake. Normally we love getting checks in the mail. Gotta be careful. :(
BTW, when we visited in August, Spirit delayed our flight 5 hours. Workman made sure we were taken care of. As did our Villages Sales agent, Bobby Hannon, who was there to meet us in Brownwood at 11:30PM.
Wonderful show as always!
I love the fact Florida is flat! I'm from Kansas so I'm used to flat!! I'm not fond of hills and winding roads like Arkansas Tennessee Missouri have! Give me flat land!!! LoL!!
💕💕💕 Jerry and Linda
We have Canadians that come to our park in Arizona. They have to stay less than 6 months due to their health insurance. They have National healthcare and they buy travel insurance policies for here.
Love Gizmo and his jokes😘
We will be there in four days!
Loved your show today but now I’m interested in the pizza. How did you create this masterpiece?
Happy New Year to you as well, over there on the beautiful Emerald Isle.
You two do such a wonderful job! Have you guys considered starting more channels? I can see it now.... 7 channels to post new content on a daily basis.
That would cut into the golf cart ride alongs... LOL
🤣🤣🤣my husband says the same thing, I’ll make a great recipe, husband loves it then the next time I change it up💕🤣
Great Great show guys. You should do more on that 🐖 as a pet. Happy New Year friends.
Farm animals are not allowed in TV
Jerry don’t feel bad I wore a sweater with the size tag all day😂😂😂
Your son is adorable. What a sweet young man.
Thank you! Lucky parents. 🙂🙂
I can get to two different KFC by 25 min golf cart ride, but would be longer for you. Thanks for another great video
HAPPY NEW YEAR?
Are you an Iowa Hawkeye? When you mentioned the Scottish Highlanders, they always performed at Iowa games. Go Hawks!
Jerry's a Hoosier...
Happy MBM!
I enjoyed this video. It seems Gizmo wants more screen time! What is the purpose of that "donut?" Take care and best wishes for a wonderful New Year!
That's where the sprinklers come out..
@@MsLorie-ef6fooh, ok, thanks!!
When the mowers are cutting your grass, the cement donuts protect the sprinkler heads from getting chopped off.
@@daledivine4625 thank you! It makes so much sense!
I love it when my phone knows what I should say. That keeps me from making my usual mistakes. Yet no, we do not miss those frigid winters at all!
“ Benedict Kelly”… 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣SNORT🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 #RollTide!
