Cochin Shipyard has been a regret stock for me because I was holding it for quite some time and slod out at 300 just at the break out level. Nonetheless, I held onto MDL and GRSE and other defense stocks
Very good.
Keep holding these stocks.

Very kind of you
Makes sense, Indian markets should command same Market cap to GDP ratio as US although we don't have any path breaking companies.
can be more !
@@AlokJain any particular reason sir ?
Yes. Gdp figures are not reliable either.
Alok you said that stocks which are going up are not there in major discretionary investors portfolio. The question is then what is driving up the price? As currently major investement Is still handelled by discretionary or fundamental investors?
Good question 👍
I meant common conventional portfolios ....obviously sharp smart money is chasing these sto ks
Thank you, always waiting for ur videos.
My pleasure 😊
Congratulations to you and to all your viewers for market cap attaining 5 trillion mark. I have a query that if foreign institutions flows are going to come and large cap are going to rise then which mixture of large and small cap small case from your basket would be good investment with a Time Horizon of 2 years
NNF10. See his past videos on nifty junior
Large cap oriented strategies NNF10, HCC, Evergreen
almost 1.5 times GDP is makt capitalisation . Is that not over valuation ?
it is about 1.25x... bit yes
@@AlokJain Thx for reply. I am MI10 subscriber just FYI
Sir please make a video why can't Indian stock market go like Japan. If it does what will happen
Sure
Yess even I've been thinking about it for a while. Japan has peaked and it took 34 years to reach back to that level and China also had some story, not exactly but close. I was thinking if Indian market good times are done for a while now
@@AlokJainwould be great if you can throw some light on it sir, thank you!
Japan s market was in correction 30 years and in these 30 years japans real estate value were incresed, development was done in contry in technology . Why these thing happen to any country?
Please explain all these things in detail sir.
Thank s lot for great teaching
Sir, should we invest in reality through stocks Or mutual funds or REITS & INVITS?
Invest in Real real estate
@@AlokJain Investing in Real Real estate is very risky due to lack of transparency in system and retail investors are always in loss while investing in commercial spaces or land.Hence investing through mutual funds, ETFs and REITS / INVITS seems suitable to retail investors like me...hence would request if you can make a video on investing in this asset class as you have done for Equity and Gold.
Great video. Can you please explain what does GOLD*USDINR*1.15/31.103 signify in Gold daily chart
Gold in USD per Troy ounce multiplied by usdinr multiplied by 1.15 for 15 pct custom duty div by 31.103 gm per Troy ounce
@Alok sir what is the difference between consumption and fmcg ?
Consumption :
consumer durables, healthcare, auto, pharmaceuticals, hotels, etc. are consumption
FMCG
non-durable household goods such as packaged foods, beverages, toiletries, candies, cosmetics, over-the-counter drugs, dry goods, and other consumables
@@AlokJain but I can see that we have nifty indices for FMCG and consumer durables and consumption all 3 different.
You have mentioned that India GDP is around $3.5T , but it's not right.. India GDP is already around $4T..

With retail participation yet not complete, markets might not see a major correction as dips are being bought.
This is the comment which shows crash is near. Whenever people are overconfident that is the top.
