365 days I crewed on sailboats from San Diego, USA all the way down to Panama, stopping in Mexico and Costa Rica. After Panama crossing the Pacific Ocean to New Zealand stopping at islands like the Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia, Tonga and Fiji
45 days I traveled through New Zealand from the Northernmost point to the Southernmost point, then
100 days I traveled by motorbike through Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, then
365 days I traveled in my self-built campervan from Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, then
365 days I traveled with this van through Iran and Pakistan, then
180 days I built an off-grid log cabin in the woods in Spain, then
180 days I restored an old sailboat in Guatemala, then
180 days I traveled with this sailboat from Guatemala to Honduras, Cuba, Jamaica, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos and the Dominican Republic
Currently I am #boatyoga while being a #sailingcouple doing #sailingcaribbean
Well done Huub! I never doubted your ability at all and knew you would pass this. Onward and upward. This is why your channel is growing. You have shown just how capable you are as a sailor and captain and have done really well with this UA-cam channel, while working with an old boat keeping it alive and afloat. Most likely your deck to hull joint is leaking underneath the toe rail. Would be major work to remove the toe rail and re-caulk. Perhaps when you are the hard next time. Otherwise, you might be able to caulk all around the toe rail on all joints to help minimize the leaks.
I have only recently become interested in boat life (at 65) and have yet to board a sailing boat on the water, although mine is on the driveway slowly being refurbished, but I will get there. I'm a bit old to learn everything you know, but if I was your age it would certainly be my ambition. Heartfelt congratulations mate. Now how about uploading a video of your mum congratulating you, perhaps in Dutch!!?

Very interesting process, it is unfortunate that you could not have videoed some of your training/testing. Why are you getting your Harbor Master credentials? Are you planning on a business of carrying crew and/or passengers for a fee or are you planning to charge Melania for carrying her on your boat? LOL
Hahaha, I doubt she'll agree! :) We're probably going to do some charter work on charter boats besides youtube. It's a backup plan. YT ad income is lately going down a lot. And one day I do like a little bigger boat :)
