    I mean guy..this was amazing one of the best educational videos I've seen. I own a pressure washing company and I'm getting into solar panel cleaning to have a niche service to separate me from other companies on my area. This helped alot. Thanks for taking the time..

    Great final summary and call! I was just wondering, what does the industry look like for second-story homes? How about for businesses?

    The 3rd caller had the study wrong the study says that panels are shown to run 3.5% more efficient after cleaning but a dirty solar panel can be losing up to 30% of production. That last guy is the worse business man ever 😂

    Studies often are variable, based on the number of panels in the study, geographic region, weather, etc. The gentleman who quoted the study from UC Davis was only citing one study and was short cited to not recognize the myriad of other studies that contradict the Davis study. We as providers in Solar panel cleaning/maintenance should do what we can to understand the data and be prepared to talk about the statistics, because it will help to differentiate us as more cutting-edge, educated and likely translates into more sales.

    For me, the number of panels has nothing to do with the price of the job it’s really based on how difficult the access to the home and the roof is our area has mostly 1212 pitch roofs on a two-story house with a 3 foot crawlspace. A 32 foot to 40 foot ladder is common on most jobs and safety equipment is required and it’s a lot more expensive than what I’ve been hearing. And with a heavy metropolitan traffic area three jobs would be the max you could really get done in a day.

      Not really when there's an $80 minimum charge. Comes out to about $10/panel for most systems

    How can somebody possibly be that cheap? This is a fairly dangerous job being on and off roof’s every day and insurance limits are not cheap. I don’t see how they could have insurance.

    This video is literally called “how to price solar cleaning” and all you did was call some randos who are probably trying to make it in the business world. I figured you’d at least tell us what you charge since you pretended to be a customer and exposed these peoples pricing? I know your probably charging 10-12 dollars per panel, is there a reason why you aren’t disclosing that in this video? You need to be informing us what we should charge so this industry remains profitable. We want to hear your professional opinion, not some random peoples pricing who likely aren’t as established and successful as you with more than one location.

    • @allonesolarshine
      @allonesolarshine 9 місяців тому +3

      I have other videos that disclose my pricing. This video shows what the market looks like and how pricing can definitely range per cost of operations.
      Appreciate your feedback and support

      How to get price your cleaning ? Check around for pricing and see what the market allows. You wanted him to spoon feed you the information. Not every market is that same. Check around so you have a good base. Then play with the numbers as you give your quotes and see what works. What doesn’t and dial it in.
