- American professional eater Randy Santel versus Holy Guacamole Mexican Bar & Grill's 1kg "El Diablo" Spicy Chicken Burrito Challenge TWICE back-to-back consecutively at Holy Guacamole Mexican Bar & Grill in the Legian neighborhood of Bali, Indonesia!! My girlfriend @KatinaEatsKilos and I left Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and flew up & over to the island of Bali, Indonesia where I attempted 3 delicious Indonesian competitive eating challenges around the Legian neighborhood of Bali. For final Balinese food challenge #3, I walked over to Holy Guacamole Mexican Bar & Grill in Legian, Bali, Indonesia so I could attempt Holy Guacamole's famous and popular 1kg "El Diablo" Spicy Chicken Burrito Challenge which has been finished by more than 1,000 people within the 30 minute time limit. The base eating challenge features a 1kg Mexican burrito made with 1 large flour burrito tortilla, filled & topped with spicy chicken plus rice, beans, lots of healthy vegetables, sauces, and 2 different cheeses. It is served on a platter with some nacho chips and challengers must also finish a 0.5 L (500 mL) Diablo Session IPA canned beer within the 30 minute time limit. Thousands of people have failed to finish the spicy chicken burrito challenge platter since it first started many years ago, but also thousands have won as well. Because so many people have won over the years, and because I knew I didn't want to try to break the overall time record, I decided to become the first person ever to finish TWO of the burrito challenges back-to-back consecutively. This is a pay-to-play burrito food challenge. Win or lose, everyone pays Rp 349,000 (~$24 USD) for each spicy Mexican food platter. Winners earn a sweet T-Shirt, a Certificate of Completion, and spot on the Wall of Fame!! Note: I knew that I would not get anything free even if I finished two, since it was Australian owned (lol). Thanks for watching this video!! I know this wasn't my best eating performance. Katina and I got invited to a breakfast restaurant earlier that day, and I ended up accidentally eating too much because the Balinese food was all so delicious!! Finishing the 2nd burrito plus the beer was a real struggle and I know normally that I would have finished both platters a lot sooner. I'm not even a big eater, but this is the first challenge I think I could actually do. I've watched a bunch of videos of challenges, and this one seems very doable for the normal person. 1032 winners means it must be pretty easy compared to others that remain undefeated for years. By the way, why does the temperature of water make such a big difference during a challenge? I asked Beard if he prefers cold or warm drinks but didn't get a response, so hopefully you can satisfy my curiosity.
The pay to play ones are usually more doable. More marketing than an actual challenge.
@@sg7957 Yeah not some heavy eater myself but I think I could come fairly close to finishing this. Especially if the beer requirement was some sort of lager and not an IPA. I can drink IPA's that are twice as strong as those but they don't go with Mexican type cuisine, at all. They're too heavy.

Down to the wire!!! Burritos looked amazing. 24 bucks?!!!!!! I live 12 miles from the US Mexico border. A coworker and I shared a 2 taco rice and beans plate, quesadilla, side of chips with guac and hot carrots. No shitting, it was 58 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!! regular taco shop, not a hoitie toitie eatery. The amount of food we had was less than half of one of those burritos. SMH
No lettuce or tomatoes. And no sour cream this is a challenge I can honestly say I can beat.
Wow, that's really, REALLY low alcohol % for an IPA! Especially being called a Diablo IPA. Figured it would have been 9-12% with a name like that! Beer snob critique out of the way....great win Randers!

I was stationed there in Early 2000 every thing is dog . When I bought my wife back to merry her she cried when we ordered steak. At my favorite restaurant. She was so overwhelmed

You have to pay for it either way, so how is this a challenge? It's a marketing stunt. Almost anyone could eat 2.2 pounds of basic Mexican food. Even eating two is easy.
Should have poured the beer into a tall glass and create a lot of foam and let it settle at the beginning. Reduce the bubbles in the gut.
