I completely agree! Even with my boys at age 5 and 10, I learned a few things that I want to change.

Have you found any awards for kids for memorizing? We are working on 1 John and I want to give my kids a small award for each chapter like a ribbon but I cannot find anything. Looking for something simple like a blue ribbon or bulk ribbons of different colors that say Bible memory on it with a card in the back to write the verse or chapter, the child's name, and the date. If you know anyone who sells something like that, let me know!
Have you searched on Amazon? They usually have little award ribbons you can purchase.
@@BibleMemoryGoal I searched everywhere before asking anyone. There are ribbons for swim meets and horse shows and all kinds of stuff but nothing appropriate for Bible memorizing.
You know we teach children to wash hands and brush teeth. We can teach bible time too.
