Can you do a video using the multiple tower features of ETABS, and specifically how you could do a modal analysis of those towers? Including implications for auto-seismic loads, mass participation, and so forth?
36:00 Question, How do I identify a diaphragm as rigid or semi-rigid 37:10 If the model is small enough or the running time is not too much would it be valid to assign semi-rigid diaphragms 40:02 Question about ramps
Based on my expertise, it is recommended to use a Rigid Diaphragm during the initial stage of modeling to control the behavior of the structure. However, when you are at the last stage of the designing phase, it is better to go for a Semi-Rigid Diaphragm to transfer the forces as it mimics realistic behavior. If the floor has a large span, a big cantilever structure, a sloped floor (ramp), or is experiencing significant deflection, it is advisable to use a Semi-Rigid Diaphragm to control the model behavior. In the case where there are braces or trusses, a semi-rigid diaphragm can be chosen for that specific floor, as illustrated in the video.
Thank you for this webinar I have a question regarding diaphragm disconnect, If there is a opening of 30 x 60 feets in a floor sandwidtch in between two floors with slab completely covering the area, Do we have to disconnect diaphragm at that opening by selecting joints or it will act as a diaphragm?
In your CSi Team of Experts, could you please develop a "Decision Making" A.I. Algorithm which on its own will properly judge and decide automatically for the best/optimum option of the Diaphragm to consider in our Model? I believe that you, as Guru you are, You Could! Please do it then in your oncoming versions of enhancements! Sincerely Yours!
Can i request for Performance Base Design using Non Linier Response Spectrum Analysis and Scaling using 11 Ground Motion Data for X and Y direction in Etabs?

By the way I really liked this host as well. Consider hosting more webinars!

Oh my god!!! I really enjoyed this presentation. Please make more videos like that!!!
Thank you Sir . Such a nice Webinar!
can't wait for CSiDetail!
Its so amazing first time I see webinar like that
no strain no stress! where this is found?
Thank you for this webinar

could you please attach the sample modelling files for practicing?
