Welcome to trap land. Enjoy your stay and many emotional wounds where you'll have to get back to the point you died at. Generally I think this is the hardest level of all the three girls. I'm ready to discuss Creamy. I can show you why it's harder than Cream's.
Well as a general rule, Sally's level is probably the most gimmicky. It has a stealth section with one-hit kill bosses if they catch you. Sure you can blind them with your electric shield but it won't change the trajectory of their movements. Knuckles will still run straight towards you as he was already doing (I think he might be a bit slower tho). You could potentially outplay Tails through that method actually. I had my fair share of fun with him actually. Right when he is about to catch you, just jump over him, use the electric shield and he'll fly straight away from you. I did that a few times because it was so fun to do, until I was a big dumb-dumb and accidentally used my flame shield and ran staright into him. (Hey! It might've worked. Maybe fire is very effctive against foxes, I dunno! How should I know that he's just immune against a giant fireball!)
Furthermore the entirety of the level is full. of. traps. Have. FUN!
There's even a massive labyrinth in there which is the epitome of trap and middle fingers and doesn't even pay off all that much, since it was much safer to just take the high route. Unless you are kinda impatient and don't like waiting behind pillars, then sure. Go in there, have your fun, I hope you have life insurance. On the topic of those traps, apparently spikes also kill you if you just slightly touch them from the side. My personal headcanon is that the game doesn't show you that the spikes are actually alive and just spring into the side, to poke you to death.
Jokes aside for now, yeah you gotta be patient with the first section. I remember easily beating this level in the old version, since there was more space to escape, while also being to jump infintely with the electric shield. Now that's not so easy. Staying low is probably the better choice.
On the topic of staying low, now Sally hides behind the pillar instead of hiding in the shadows. I guess it makes sense that Tails and Knuckles aren't as dumb to not see her standing right next to them only because it's a little dark. However I did think that hiding in the shadows looks cooler than simple hiding behind a pillar. Though that is just personal preference.
The next part is the collapse part, where you have to move quickly.......but do you really. It kinda works like Cream's time-limit level but also not really. It doesn't look like the time limit is all that strict like Cream's was. The real challenge in this looks to be more psychologically. YOU decide to go fast because there is indeed a time limit. In turn YOU don't quite take the time to assess your surroundings. As such YOU are more liable to make mistakes.
This is an interesting question now. Creamy! How often did you die by a falling pillar in the collapse part and how often did you die by spikes in there? It doesn't have to be a precise number. Just a rough estimation. Then we can see how much the time limit affects one psychologically instead of actually endangering you. Not to say that the falling blocks are a joke. They are not. They are very much capable of killing you if you dawdle around too much.
I guess as a last little thing I'd like to mention, I haven't actually beaten this level yet. It takes a lot of time, despite the many extra lives you can get there. So you did well on that, Creamy! Now the trie survival ending is not much farther, if you haven't gotten it already. I'll try to follow behind as soon as I can, so don't let up on those mad Sally.Exe skills.

Actually in escape part, really easy to escape both of them. You only have to discovery the rule and use electric shield at right time when Tails chase you. For Knux is easier, just jump above his head, go with opposite his direction xD
And now is collapse part. Half of second collapse part wasn't changed much. The only problem is half of first collapse part. In old ver, i just need to use spam shield to dodge all. In updated ver, i cant use spam shield, half of first this part was changed, A LOT, has a lot of traps. But the main problem isn't time limit, nor the traps. The main problem is soundtrack and the sound when you fall in trap. That can make player feel...stress and easily make mistake. You know, 1 mistake in this part can lead to death, oof
For answer the question, well, i fell at that part a lot of time xD. I usually forget the right hole i need to jump down. I think the reason is the main problem i mention above about collapse part
