Anyone upgradeing from 16 total to 40gb? Im curious if adding a 32gb to an 8gb thats soldered in thus eliminating dual channel is better or worse for gaming.
Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both! Regarding your question, your laptop is equipped with 8GB of DDR4 RAM that is soldered onto the motherboard, and there is one available RAM slot for further expansion. While the laptop is technically capable of handling up to 64GB of RAM, it's important to note that the manufacturer made the decision to solder only 8GB onto the board, which limits your options. As a result, you are restricted to a maximum of 40GB of RAM (8GB onboard + 32GB RAM stick in the available slot). The sealed screw is supposed to lift the panel up, if you leave her for last one.
yes the c lock screws are to help to separate the cases, but sometimes they don't work, and i prefer doing it manually.

Hello, I just upgraded my ram in this exact computer with a Crucial 16gb Ddr4. It is showing 24gb now, but is only showing 2666MHz instead of 3200MHz. Any ideas why or how to fix?
Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P
regarding your question: because the ram you purchased it was not 3200Mhz, BUT this is Intel CPU you don't need to worry about the ram MHZ , the MHZ is very important for AMD CPU.
@@uFixTek Hello, Thank you for your response! Just an update, I actually ordered the same Crucial RAM (same part #) and installed it and now it is running at the proper 3200MHz! So I guess the first one I received was unfortunately faulty.
awesome it happens sometimes that they do come a very slightly defective :P
Thanks for the vid. One qustion: could I put in the replaceable slot a 64GB ram piece? Meaning will the laptop recognize such an amount or it maxes out at 40/48?
Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P
regarding your question: you can only place a single 32gb stick and it will add with the 8gb on board or 16gb on board that you have.

Con este upgrade deja de funcionar el dual Channel?
I just cant pry near the charging port

hi! very informative video though. currently i have the asus rog zephyrus m16 gu603zw and i want to upgrade my ram. which ram should i choose?

Regarding your question, we use many brands of rams and with over years we found the best suitable rams are this, they are rock solid and very reliable.

also this laptops take DDR4 not DDR5, there are few selective models with DDR5 make sure your it says DDR5, if so then go with this rams:
for ddr5 they are very good not so great for ddr4,

If it’s the 2022 US model M16, it takes DDR5. You can know by checking the speed it runs at on Armoury Create. It should detail the RTX Graphics card number, plus the Memory Speed next to it. IE, (Nvidia RTX 3070ti, DDR5 Memory ..) etc
Take 16GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM
can this laptop use m.2 sata ssd?
we have installed nvme and m.2 sata and they both worked fine, but update the BIOS before.
Is this electroboom?
no my friend but we have the same nationality 😊
Hey brother, can I add a 32 gb instead?
🫠Regarding your question, yes you can without any issues.
Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me.
cheers🍻
It is okay if the Ram in other side of motherboard its 8gb and i upgrade 32gb on the side on video, does it work when the ram doesn’t match

Regarding your question, yes, there is one available slot unless you opted for an upgraded version.
Should you have any additional questions or requests in the future, please feel free to ask.

will this fit in there. Crucial 48GB DDR5-5600 SODIMM ,thanks my laptop is 2023 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900H 2.60 GHz
It's my pleasure my friend.
🫠Regarding your question, the 2023 models are DDR4 not DDR5, but i have seen a late 2023 with DDR5, i would highly recommend you check the manufacture spec, or open and check.
or give me the full model number.

Can the laptop support ddr5 4800? And is it even required?
Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P
regarding your question: there are two versions of this laptops out one with ddr5 rams and other ddr4. and you can't have ddr5 ram installed on dd4 slot.
i think the 2021 model supports ddr4 but the 2022 supports ddr5
@@sosa3308 yes my friend, some of the new 2022 are DDR5
Got the ZM Version is really good Machine like it x3 have 16 GB so if use 32 Ram i have than 40 GB Total ? becouse 8GB on the Bord right ?
🫠Regarding your question, yes if you have 24gb that means you have 8gb on board and 16gb you can remove the 16gb and place a 32gb and it will add with 8gb on board for total 40gb.
Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me.

@@uFixTek ok i ordered a 32GB ADATA RAM 4800Mhz DDR 5 hope this will work i have the Gu603zm
It will work just fine 👍
@@uFixTek yep works fine
awesome , enjoy the upgrade🍻🫠
Reading the ram it says 8gb 1rx16. But my system about UI days I have 16gb of ram. Do I need to replace both rams ( the solder on I can't see and visible one?) Or can I just upgrade the one that is removable and be ok.
Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P
regarding your question: you have two rams one soldered on board (8GB) and one dim 8gb you can replace the 8gb with 16gb and you get 16gb+8gb and it will work just fine.
amzn.to/3ZAkNN6
@@uFixTek Can you replace it with a 32gb stick? Will it run fine with 8gb soldered and 32gb expanded?
1 ram on a 16" is dumb. Some 15/16 have 2 ssd and this doesn't even have 2 ram upgrades
Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P
regarding your question: they do have technically two rams, one is soldered on motherboard (8GB) and you get to add an additional 16gb or a 32GB stick and it will add to the 8gb on board.
I wish i could've upgraded it to 5600mhz
Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P
regarding your question: this is a INTEL CPU you don't need to worry about the MHz of the ram on INTEL cpus, if it was AMD then sure very very important, intel doesn't care much about the mhz for its performance.
