- Hurricane Beryl is on land about to go back into the Gulf of Mexico. Downgraded to a tropical storm, but will strengthen again. The shear will only affect this tropical wave, hurricane, halfway through the gulf, then the storm will make a northern turn and intensify by the Texas coast. Brownsville all the way to DFW towards Arkansas should be on alert.

He also said 8-10 days ago before beryl that the tropics were shutting down until August…take everything with a grain of salt when dealing with weather

Their resilience is truly inspiring! Here in Galveston, we're praying for a safe and swift passage of the tropical storm, bringing only a blessing of rain to fill our rivers and lakes. May Beryl continue to be a gentle and friendly visitor. Grateful for the update 🙏
God hears our prayers, even or especially concerning the weather. We've learned to pray as early as possible. We start for the next season in the earlier season and PTL our prayers are usually answered for us in the desired way. Really!! If more people would really pray in faith lifting up man, beasts and property things would be much better out there for sure. Come Lord Jesus.
I totally believe it! I have personal experience with the power of prayer too. My family in Mexico was heavily affected by drought, but thankfully, the jungles are now thriving again. We prayed for rain and our prayers were answered. Then, we prayed for safety from the potential consequences of heavy rainfall, and thankfully, no one died. It's a testament to the power of faith and community!
thank god for that huge build up of dirt to the north. now mexico FEMA can ship back all their disaster relief to Mexico city

My sister's life and home last summer was Satan's target but both of us were praying for her protection before and during. A long story short her house was completely spared but a giant tree a few feet in the front yard went down missing her home. She's poor and by the grace of God she didn't have to pay out one dime for the major cleanup. Not only that but the stump was ground away and fresh grass planted. The tree was old and needed to come down. I guess the Lord took care of that his way. Prayer of faith is truly what we can do as believers. 😊😊🙏🙏✝️

Our local officials won’t report this until LAST MINUTE! With that Cypress Tornado, the meteorologist said take cover in the next 6 mins and then the lights went out and we had NO SIRENS!
Yep, we were on 290 & 6 and we had less than 5 mins! I was on the phone with my mom, when she was watching the news. She was like, "Oh my gosh, we need to take cover! A tornado is headed right towards us!" And as soon as she said that, our power went out!! We looked outside and it went from light to being dark as night. That was one of the scariest situations I have ever been in, and I've been through several Cat 3-4 hurricanes in my lifetime. All glory be to God for sparing our home! And keeping our friends and family close by safe. 🙏🙏🙏

Id suggest everyone get a hand held radio with gmrs and frs on it. You need a license to broadcast on gmrs, but not to listen. All the ham radio guys were broadcasting updates of the tornados locations, and even though I had warning, it was still the scariest 2 minutes of weather Ive ever experienced. I was in my truck front of that Kroger on Jones and West, 1992, when that tornado ripped the roof off of it. Alicia, Alison, Ike, Harv, and that Kroger close call were nothing compared to how I felt when those tornados ripped thru recently.
Pray we all fare well with this one coming. I got a feeling Texas is gonna take a beating this hurricane season.

It's not god's bad side man it's a natural phenomenon that's important for regulating the climate and if they're getting more powerful it's because we're heating up the temperature of the Gulf and Atlantic which means these storms gain more strength.
@deebonvillian1185 don't count your chickens yet the way this storm is moving you may need to prepare for a hit
Basically, if hurricanes didn't exist we wouldn't be able to exist because the climate would be more chaotic. Well I say that but they would exist no matter what I think.

Marc, I very much appreciate all your insights. I own a tree company and I have been tracking storms for several years now I always tell people never to under estimate what a hurricane can do or where it will end up going. I’ve been telling people for the last week that I was worried that this one was gonna land somewhere Near Corpus Christi… I live in Houston and now I’m warning all my family that they have about 24 hours to prepare for 100+ mile per hour winds.

Joel Osteen said anyone from across the nation dealing with storms or right times can just sleep inside his church. He told me to let everyone know the doors are broken so just kick it in or break a small window and stay there as long as you like. I’m living here now.

It shouldn't be a surprise it's turning more north and east because hurricanes typically avoid land so it's going to make a right turn to stay over the water. 🤷♂️
