Merci a certain coach d'avoir enfin vu un orl pour vous faire deboucher les oreilles . Elle méritait les 4 sièges , elle est méritait déjà largement l'année dernière. J'espère que Florent l'emmenera là où elle mérite , car franchement sa prestation tout comme l'année dernière , est une des meilleurs que j'ai entendu .

The version of R3HAB from Creep is already a cover. The song is originally from Radiohead. The best covered two versions of this much covered and great song are in my opinion from Vincint Cannady and from Haley Reinhart, not from R3HAB.

This girl was already in the previous season 2021 (blind session being recorded in december of year n - 1, so in december 2020, current blind have been recorded in december 2021) , with the same coachs. At this time, nobody turned but it raised a dispute between coachs.
Florent Pagny blaming himself and the others for a big mistake.
Others coachs didn't really agree with Florent. They didn't turn for some specific reasons, and in particular Vianney.
This dispute became famous among social networks and so the production decided exceptionally to give her a new chance this year.
In fact... Florent didn't recognise the girl even when turning his chair. So it makes me wonder if Florent was really sincere last year, I see some hypocrisy.
But Vianney, who didn't turned here, facing the girl for the final debrief immediately identified her, and even remembered her name. What is very funny is that Vianney was last year the only coach to have very specific recriminations against the girl, and so was really not interested, and recriminations are probably the same this year.
If you want my opinion... I found this girl "boring", and this present year with another tune "she is still boring", and I hope she will leave the competition quickly because she only breaks my ears and my bowls.
Just replay the blind audition of Louise in the first session, the blind auditions of Marghe and Jim Bauer in 2021, this is what we expect here.
Marina is singing but hardly communicates emotion
There is pehraps a BIG BIG BIG mistake in the choice of song. Singing in english is always a risk because part of emotion linked to the text is not communicated.
French public doesn't understand the text,
Choosing an english song can be good when this song is well known and has been covered many time, so people have some references in their head
I didn't know this tune so I recently went into UA-cam... the fact is that with Christina Aguilera this is different. Her voice has more colour and vibrato. Vibrato is the KEY to communicate emotion. Anyway, I am not fond of this tune, BUT the fact is that with Christina this is better, there is more emotion, I can play the video completely, with Marina, after few seconds I just want to skip.
So this girl made wrong choices this year and probably last year, singing too difficult tunes given her current vocal level, and given the current specifications of her voice.
At this point, her voice lacks a vibrato that could change a lot of thing. There is only a slight vibrato, not enough according to me for such song.
I hate these kind of candidate that are loudly screaming... with no result at the end. She forgets she is fundamentally french, and singing some simple french song may sometimes be far better than screaming.
But let's wait now what will be the coaching of Florent Pagny

It’s impossible to remember everyone . I think Florent is and was sincere . I like her voice and her tone . Singing in English is NO reason to recriminate her . I am from Venezuela I live in USA and I speak five languages fluently including Spanish and French . I follow the voice from all over the world and I can tell you that music is a universal language with no borders or language. That you don’t like her tone when she is singing it is your right but I think Florent knows what he is doing and if he turned there is a reason . Also is very stupid to think that she forgets she is French because she sings in English. Bueno , cada cabeza un mundo . Elle va aller loin .

The first half was good , she could not hit the higher notes in the latter half of the song . Her low notes were good in the beginning but she was hesitating to hit the notes in the 2nd half.
I think she tensed up a bit after the first chair turn, and that affected her high notes. Nerves, I would say.
@@amberyooper Yes up until Florent's turn I was like wow someone is finally doing this song justice , then she started to dodge the high notes and should have lowered the key because the climax she starts to go off key and you can feel her holding back because she can't hit the highest notes.

Of all the voice competition shows I find these judges incredibly annoying. They seem very self-absorbed and making comments interrupting the listening for the viewers, talking to each other, lip syncing, etc. Just listen and take it in because the show is not about you!
