LPGA is smart. Their PR and marketing team are super smart. Agree the WNBA needs to take notes and catch up and capitalize on her drawing of fans and new fans in a positive way. I haven't watched the LPGA in years. Wish her the best.

I couldn't agree more, I heard that they wan't to do this to an annual event...That is how a good Marketing team works. It would create a true win win situation. I'm watching this because of Caitlin but I'm following Annika (a Swedish gem) from a distance and I'm very proud of her.

An avid golfer my whole life and an avid Clark, Iowa, Fever fan as well. We went to a game in Indy this year and the atmosphere is electric. Some people like Caitlin, The Beatles, and Elvis have a special charisma that draws people in. She has that quality. We have been Annika fans for years also and saw her in a number of tournaments. She is awesome in person as well. A perfect match. Great to see.

@@TyGrue-p2nNo, well maybe 4 a portion of Caitlin Clark's fans?!?! BUT... I'd argue, it's MOSTLY b/c a) It's obvious that Angel R NEEDS to work on her bball skills & technique, learning how to do proper lay-ups for one, much more than Caitlin C does. Not saying that Caitlin doesn't need or that she doesn't work on her own game, as she did a lot even during their break. (b) For me, imho, I have wondered sometimes, how much Angel's heart is really into bball?!?! Cuz it seems fairly obvious that her passions lie more w/ fashion & modelling etc more & being a social media/content Creator! It's NOT a bad thing at all!

I used to think I hated Golf when I was in my teens and early 20s... then I tried it and realized how insanely difficult and fun it is, not to mention incredibly rewarding once you start figuring things out and making good shots. I was so mad at how bad I sucked at it that it made me wanna get better, now I can't stop lol, golf is insanely fun and relaxing if you're not a hothead and can accept the fact that you're gonna suck at Golf until you put in the work, and even then it's gonna take time putting in that work. I wish I had started golfing when I was a kid.
Also, if someone far better is golfing with you and giving tips, do not get annoyed with them and act like you know it all and are just going to magically figure out golf on your own, it's one of the most challenging activities to be consistently decent at I've ever tried, and I was always pretty athletic/good at shit when I put my mind to it.

They loved the buzz and the excitement for the eyes on the Pro-Am and the ladies' game. They sold out the tickets but only had a set amount. They didn't want overcrowding 😊 Most of the fans were there to see CC#22❤❤❤ Great highlights but i wish they showed more. The LPGA and its players are showcasing an impressive marketing strategy that highlights the WNBA's shortcomings. The league seems disconnected from understanding what a superstar truly is and how to effectively market them to foster growth. This was evident in their failure to include Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese on the Olympic team. To conclude, the LPGA has clearly demonstrated why the WNBA has never made a profit.

Third, thanks to Tiger Woods, golf has transformed into a sport accessible to everyone, with public courses available globally and miniature golf is gaining popularity among couples. In summary. The landscape of sports has evolved. Nonetheless, the WNBA has faced significant challenges during this period because the people that operate the league have the mental agility of a Glazer.

I watched a number of UA-cam videos of CC warming up, playing the round, and her interviews. I’m a golf fan, meaning that I only occasionally will watch part of an LPGA event. When Tiger was in his prime, I watched PGA tournaments more devotedly. However, these days I rarely watch an entire round, PGA or LPGA. I will fast-forward through the round, only pausing to watch my favorite players, or certain exciting shots. I’ll also pause to watch certain exciting holes at some of the big tournaments. It is similar to how I’ve been watching tennis lately. In this case, if it weren’t for CC, I would not have watched The Annika. FYI, Quita, Nelly Korda’s sister, Jessica, is also a pro golfer, and their brother, Sebastian, is one of the top American tennis players. They’re a special family for sure.
In any case, I’ll watch just about anything w/ Caitlin Clark, even over NFL or NBA. In fact, other than watching my Longhorns, I don’t watch as much sports as I used to, except, of course, until CC made the Fever a must-watch game.

Caitlin seems to have a nice swing but she's not ready for prime time, especially if she's only playing once a week. Good to see uplifting commentary for a change. I have never watched golf until now. ❤❤I support all women’s sports like CC. I wish WNBA would be better role models and I love a lot of them. I don’t think some of them understand you don’t have to tear someone down to be lifted up. You are a doll❤❤❤❤

CC had me watching golf. Thats crazy. I was already aware of who Nelly Korda was, so it was cool to see Caitlin paired with the best women's golfer in the world.

Women's basketball players need to watch LPGA media conferences. A lesson in professionalism. Great cross pollunating women sports.

I have been catching it through the day, but I catch every interview and every sit-down conversation. CC22 will help promote women's athletics every way possible! It seems nice to see women who are grateful for her attention not trying to tear her down with critical attacks.

The LPGA did a great job of promoting her. I wish the WNBA would have gotten on board. She was exciting to watch on the court. The more women support other women in other sports, the better. I watch the LPGA anyway. The women have such great tempo. As a matter of fact, I have the tournament on right now.

I just learned, from this video, that Caitlin was a very good soccer player, in high school. That might be an explanation for how she developed such strong, quick legs and footwork. In soccer, the legs must be so strong, and the feet, so quick and tricky!
