ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I may be in the minority but this Spot fig is awesome. Yeah he doesnt haven normal human proportions obviously but he is done so well, just a simple fig but very nice and fun to pose imo. Just for random toy photography, he makes for some cool pics
Fun fact: you can get Spot's arms to almost cross if you move them forward, and then push them together.

The Spot figure is neat... that Spider-Man figure looks like a ten dollar toy without any paint and ugly pants/waist section. They look fun to have but not enough for me want to spend that kind of money. Nice review man. Always bringing "life" to toys. :)

I have an irrational love for the spot figure. Only one from the wave I've gotten. Sentinel has me covered on Miles and Peter and I'll probably get Gwen when she comes out.
Spot was such a great villain, i remember reading him in mark waids DD run. At first his body shape was creepy to me but seeing how he moves in the movie he looks great. He should have came w a hat and jacket, or at least some spots w him coming thru them. Ill pick him up once hes on clearance.

If they ever do another wave of Into/Across the Spider-Verse figures. I'm PRAYING that we get a full-on Blonde/1610 Peter Parker! He was always my favorite Spider-Person besides Peter B figure.
Spot is a fun figure. Even though I would love to keep a complete spiderverse collection, that Peter is inexcusable. The basic line knew what the people wanted...

5:12 Why wouldn't they do articulation like that on the other spider-men figures, I'm pretty sure it's more cost-effective articulation than the standard waist swivel and abcrunch if done properly.
Maybe in the future we'll get a full peter b parker spider man figure hopefully right?

It is pretty groundbreaking to see a double ball peg for the torso from hasbro. Hope they can continue this and lower their prices

Only real thing you could to do to improve the spot is I dunno use vantablack paint

I think they used different plastic that is able to have thinner joints and that’s why they look cheap ish.

None of these figures do it for me. Don't like the style or the price for lack of everything really. Accessories, paint, etc etc

And Spot is just weird. As luck would have it I heppened to go to three different Ollie's in my travel's this weekend, in two different States. And I think the stores new name is "Hasbro's" they had so much Hasbro Marvel Legends, Star Wars Black, Power Rangers and GI Joe Classified on their shelves. At about 30% less than what Ollie's normal prices for 6" figures is. Pretty much all of it sub $10. I mean who doesn't want a J K Simmons action figure for $9?

It shouldn't cost $100 to get the webs on Spider-Man's costume. If you can't do the webs, you may as well stop making Spider-Man figures.

This figure sucks, why can’t they just make a full suited Peter B. Parker will a masked and unmasked head? All other versions of him from other toy companies are overpriced & unavailable, Hasbro would make a killing off of that.🤷🏻♂️

Hasbro's Spider-Man looks very close to Mafex's. If Hasbro painted the webs black, and gave him Spider-Man tights, it would look identical to the Mafex one with the ball jointed joints in hips and chest area!
