Exact process I use, great tip, the cleaning the loft after treatment is so important. I know too many people who treat sick birds and then put them back into a dirty loft! Thanx for sharing.
Yes it is an often time overlooked part of the process. Thank you for the comments!
Very nice job .😊 congratulations
Got info. Will have to give it a try
Hi, does this only treat pigeons after they got the worms or it also helps to prevent them from getting it? Thanks.
We can’t give it to the pigeons that has baby pigeons?
Thanks for the video, what do you treat the pigeons with for lice
I regularly give them baths with bath salts and I like to use vet Schroeder anti parasite drops. One drop to the back of the neck once a year. I have also treated before with the automatic fly sprayer replacement cans you get from tractor supply, with that I would do one spray under each wing and one on the vent. The fly spray worked good but the bet Schroeder is once a year and one drop per pigeon.
Hope this info helps!
Appreciate the exact measurements I just got some of this yesterday and used it today I heard it works wonders on racing pigeons so we will see thank you again 🏆🪽🪽🧬🙏🏼
Would the dose be double per gallon in cold weather?
Hi. You can feed them while using that?
Sorry for the delay I temporarily lost access to accounts. Yes you can feed them while using that. But I do withhold grit for 24 hours.
How often do you deworm your pigeons?
I deworm my entire flock every year 5 weeks before I start breeding, I then worm again 21 days later.
I also will deworm just my young birds using the same schedule before the start of young bird racing season.
cant get quest plus were i live in uk
I would be afraid to offer a suggestion for a similar product because I’m not familiar with what’s available in the UK. The main ingredients in Quest Plus are Moxidectin and praziquantel.
How often you do that? Thanks
I will worm my entire flock of birds once a year right before breeding season. I also treat just the young birds a few weeks before the first young bird race.
Thanks for sharing your method! It's nice to see a different way of worming the birds!
