Vince DiCola (born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania) is an American composer, keyboardist, and arranger best known for his work on the The Transformers: The Movie, Staying Alive and Rocky IV soundtracks. DiCola also pioneered the use of sequencers on his soundtrack recording for Rocky IV, one of the first to exploit the Fairlight CMI & Synclavier II's computer's sequencing capabilities.
He received a Golden Raspberry Award in 1986 for his work on the Rocky IV soundtrack. :(

The idiots gave him a golden raspberry. DiCola is one of the best 80s composers, the word unique doesn't even give him enough credit.
They seriously gave him a raspberry?! And people wonder why awards mean shit, the guy is a genious, his Rocky IV soundtrack is one of the g.o.a.t.
I totally agree with you. Vince Dicola is a true genius. He understood the Rocky movies and he made the perfect music for it. Another example why I don't care about the razzies and the oscars when I saw sylvester stallone won the golden globes for his preformance on creed. He received a standing ovation from the audience. That is the greatest prize that an artist can get. So fuck off critics of the hollywood institute
