Can someone please tell me why Jessica was blacklisted by sm? I came for Jennie and fell in love with her. I am a new stan so I don't know much
@@hazelle__gardenia Jessica is not the only artist that's blacklisted by SM. But long story short ( I don't know if it's true), Jessica wanted to pursue fashion while being in Girls Generation, but she couldn't do both at the same time so I think she broke her contract with SM and left GG. And with that she was blacklisted by SM and can't really appear in Korean TV Shows or perform her songs in like Inkigayo and what not. That's why if you look at her recent live performances, its either like a concert type or out of the country. I think that might be the reason, but I don't know if this is true or what.

She supposed to going hiatus with SNSD activities after SNSD Tokyo Dome tour in 2014 and their Catch Me If You Can comeback supposed to be her last comeback with SNSD and she's supposed to debut as a duo with Krystal and focus on her solo activities.
But, suddenly the agency disagree with her plan and cancel all than decision right away (the real reason is still unknown, there's just rumor here and there).. she got kicked out from the group 2-3 months before the tour and SNSD re-shoot the Catch Me if You Can mv without her (the mv with her in it already complete and get leaked out later, not sure if you can still search it up)
Then the same fate as every artist who leave SM under "not on good term" fall upon her, SM blacklisted her from appearing on any korean show (music show, reality show, variety show, basically from Korean TV show) so she can't appear on south korea tv show until this day
Until this day, there's no statement from SM regarding her departure and why they suddenly "kicked her" out of the group
There's only story about the incident from Jessica on her weibo and from the staff who have been working with SNSD mv, Jessica & Krystal reality show, and her goodbye stage plan on Tokyo Dome tour

They saw it as unfair and SM favoring Jessica. (This is another rumor). Her book “Bright” revealed more things that happened but we don’t know if any of it is true because she said it’s all FICTION and it’s us readers to decide what’s true. LOL but we know Jessica isn’t dumb, she sprinkled some truths but the world may never know until Jessica, S.M. or SNSD say anything but i doubt it.

I’m actually envious of this relationship: I want to have an unnie like Jessica and I want to be friends with Jennie. It’s so sad that these wishes of mine might not happen, but anyhow I want their friendship to manifest through their work, like making collabs here and there, music-wise or fashion-wise. Jennie’s interested in fashion and Jessica is still a very talented artist. I hope they can work together and build big projects soon.
