.... Well not so fast. The battery was 74% charged.. the device is supposed to tell you that in order to a proper reading the battery should be at least 99% charged.. as the GR8,the midtronics,the autel,the snapon... Even the older sun vat 45 .. alerted you to fully charge the battery then redo the test... Using that device. Replacing a battery that does not need to be replaced
Hi, on this test I'm 100% sure the battery is bad, how do I know this? Because this is one of my vehicles, I've removed the battery from the vehicle, charged it (can't remember CCA after charging but severely degraded), reinstalled it and after 1 week of use I could smell battery discharge odors (typical of a faulty battery) and experiencing slow cranks at times. The vehicle also reports low battery state of charge within 10 seconds of turning on the ignition.. I'm also interest to see what it reports with the battery out of the vehicle.. I may do a follow up video on that and once this battery is replaced under warranty I'll test the new one as well..
