- GUNMETAL Joe KOllection from Daban. This is their take on HIRM barbatos with an added 6th form armor upgrade. this kit has issues but a good kit non the less if you have glue to make some parts stay.
Damn. The out of the box build of this kit is already perfect. I hate it when kits looks too awesome even when its just a straight built. There goes my motivation to build and repaint this thing 🤣. Anyways, nice review sir Joe 👍

Nice review sir! Paparating na yung ganito ko. Sana walang kulang na parts. SOLID!
Payo lang. Yung chest part inner frame medyo kelangan ng konting mighty bond o rugby para mag-stay. Otherwise solid naman sya. Yung small parts sa wrist madaling makalas kaya medyo kailangan ng pandikit.
I like the inner frame part and the barbatos form. But the mjh 6th form version looks better in my opinion proportion wise.

I am interested in this kit, but i've heard the HIRM frames get very loose over time, so how have your kits joints lasted? or have they loosened?
Hirm frames are pre built and if u play with it or put it in a different pose constantly it’ll loosen up over time and u can’t really do anything unless u disassemble the pre built inner frame but with the daban one it’s easier to tighten and from experience it’s not getting looser over time but might just be me

How is the plastic? Is it butter soft-level to cut or is it steel bar level? I'm planning on buying a Barbie kit, but still couldn't decide between Bandai's and Daban's, and if Daban's plastic is great to work with I'm leaning towards Daban.
Daban barbi is in the brittle side on the plastic. But the detail is amazing.

Sure thing. Ang problem lang pag narration maingay. Para sa akin mas panalo an details neto at may waterslides.. Pero yung chest part needs to be work on at yung sa legs ay medyo loose.

No. This is based on HiRM which is different in design.
Which one u recommend to buy? The daban 8818 1/100 MG Barbatos or Daban 8820 1/100 MG Wing
Get the wing 8820 first. The barbatos has some fitting issues.

Oo since naka stored lang sya sa box. Ok pa naman mga polycaps nya.
maganda ang pagkakaplano sa mga kulay ng bawat parts.. mas ok sa MG ng Bandai pero sa kabilang banda.. di parin mahihigitan ang Original ng Bandai 😁

I agree. Mas close sa anime yung MG ni bandai. At may pilot cockpit sya at pilot figure. At mas solid inner frame ng bandai MG..pero sa presyo panalo si daban.
bos? hanggang ngayon ba hindi nyo pa na ikakabit yung rifle? If na ikabit nyo na, ano ginawa nyung modification?
Wala ako ginawang mods. Backpack lang yung rifle pero di sya mahawakan ng kamay para magamit sa display for dynamic poses.
