I have absolutely duel-welded two pistols while playing House of the Dead. My brother and I used to love going to our local pizzeria because they had that cabinet, but when it was time to get our pizza, he would toss me his pistol, and I would have to survive while he brought back the food. It was not about clearing the whole stage, it was about holding out so our quarters weren't wasted. Good times.
House of the Dead was legit for sure. For me though, same experience but with CarnEvil. I went dollars for deaths with that sucker. In fact, a perfect stranger and myself spent about three hours pumping quarters to beat it. I even ran out and he kept feeding me to keep me in the game. Props to that dude, wherever he is now.
Great list! Somehow, NBA Jam still retained that arcade feel when it released on the 16 bit systems, for me personally it was the Genesis. You could input a code to play as some of the actual developers of the game! Endless replayability 👍
Dude my parents owned an arcade that I ran at 13yrs old. I had Every game on your list except primal rage, crazy taxi, and house of the dead. We did have time splitters though. I didn't experience house of the dead or crazy taxi until I got a dream cast many years later.
Thank you for watching! Hopefully some of my fellow OGs will back me up on a few of the titles mentioned here. There are other games that belong on the list but I had to limit it to ten for this one. Let me know if any of these games are one of your personal favorites. Hope you enjoyed the video.
X-Men The Simpsons Aliens T2: The Arcade Game Captain America & The Avengers WWF Wrestlefest The King of Dragons Sunset Riders The Punisher D&D: Shadow over Mystara

The intro/attract mode in Killer Instinct is just amazing
Had Crusin’ USA in N64 as a kid, that game was fun as hell! My go to arcade game was always time crisis 2

Time Crises, Revolution X, Area 51, and Gauntlet Legends were some of my tops
Gauntlet Legends was everywhere back in the day, and rightfully so.
