    I love how the detective gives himself all the credit for looking for parking tickets 3 times and they give the girl that actually led to it absolutely nothing and she’s the reason he got caught typical law enforcement take all the credit for something a civilian did

      There’s a strong argument she was misdirecting the police. Even they’ve stated it was a “one in a million” chance she took the call, as one of the first Yonkers civilian dispatchers. She also kept one of his letters for over a week before turning it over to police & their family tried to sell the dog & demanded $10,000 minimum for interviews. Interviews they were trying to sell.

      This is such a lazy crap take. It’s like one person survives a rape and doesn’t get PTSD and another is in and out of psychiatric institutions for the rest of their life. People respond to trauma differently and to the best of the ability, and have different degrees of support. It is, in part, based on their nature. It might not excuse who these people become or what they do but it goes a long way to explain it and almost all of them would not have become it without their issues.

    Like the Boston Strangler, there was no consistency to the targets and the styles of the killings. Most of the attacks involved two people (a man and a woman or two women) sitting in cars, but one attack took place against two women sitting on a porch while another attack involved a lone woman walking to her house. In two of the attacks, one of the paired off people was not even shot. The media really blew it when they speculated that the killer targeted brunette women in The Bronx and Queens. On the night that she was killed, Stacey Moskowitz (a victim of the final attack) assured her mother not to worry, as they lived in Brooklyn, and she was a blonde.

But of course women are viewed as the victims, social prejudices exist for a reason. Edit and I don't think his feelings of abandonment were false, he clearly didn't have anyone with whom he could be open. I don’t get it. Why Son Of Sam?
    The dog who ,,instructed,, Berkovich was owned by his neighbor man named Sam. So, he wasn’t ,,instructed,, to kill by Sam. He was obeying the dog himself. So that name he created for himself isn’t logical at all, logically he should have signed letters as, and named himself, Son Of Dog , not Son Of Sam right ?? 😮

    ? Where was the Mafia?

    • @dickrichard626
      @dickrichard626 Рік тому

      ??? The mafia has never been known to fight crime. They would extort small business by basically demanding the owner to pay them for exchange for "protection" when the "protection" just meant that they wouldn't Smash up the store, beat up the owner, and take all the money. Also no other mafia gang could come along and do this, as long as the owner payed them.

    I wonder how the Mob handled THIS considering more than few victims had Italian sounding names?
    The mind boggles at the blood bath which might have ensued had Berkowitz murdered some made man's sister, cousin, wife, lover or other piece of tail?
    Ciao.
