We had the nose cone from the 14B in our school technology classroom. My school in Didcot had a technical partnership with Williams back in the 90s. Many of my friends parents worked there, and many of their kids work there now! Love Williams. Great company and very much a family business.
The FW14b is the one everyone goes on about but I think it overshadows the FW15c, the active suspension was fully automated unlike the 14b (which required the driver to rotate a knob in the cockpit) and featured an ABS system
The 1993's car had smaller tyres and aerodynamics, due to regulations, not to mention McLaren and Benetton in particular catched up to it. The FW15's advantage was the engine alone, the rest was equal to other cars, in fact the 1993 McLaren was more sophisticated with better chassis, electronics and even active suspensions.

Mansell's Indycar in the back looking sexy in that speedway trim
For me to this day the most amazing and beautiful car of all time, together with Mansell this car was nearly unbeatable!
unless Monaco !
Good memories of this great era.

My favourite F1 car ever. Beautiful and dominat.
And now they're at the back of the grid competing with the safety car.

My Fave all time F1 car just ahead of the 1961 sharknose Ferrari 156........both classic cars. Fabulous.

A long time ago, Michele Alboreto said: "When Mansell is at wheel, the only intelligent thing on the car are the suspension." :D :D :D
"He was a fast idiot."
This was one of the best cars in history of F1, Mansell won easily the 1992 championship, I then saw the car exposed in Rome at the end of the season.
Who else is here after hearing that Vettel bought one of these😭😂

The drivers loved it? Didn't Patrese say he didnt much like it? Something about not much "feel" compared to the passive car.
Indeed, Alain Prost hated those suspensions too, when he tested the passive 1994 version at the end of 1993 he felt it was much better for him.
The guy sat in it was a masterpiece as well.
