I have everything in the game. All the modules, all weapons fully enhanced with copies, every descendant. I have 600 hours and still farming for reactors, external components and materials. The game slowed down for sure but you have a lot more to do buddy.
Yea my main focus was the descendants cuz I wanted to get them out the way but doing the whole grind I wasn’t really in a difficult position to need more dps so that’s why I never focused or paid attention to anything else, I recently starting caring about reactors so I’ve bumped myself up a little in that category
The problem i have with TFD is you need five copys of tte same weapon to unlock the Unique ability on the weapon. I need to change it where you put a energy activator in the weapon and unlock unlock unique ability. Getting 5. Copies of the weapon is too much RNG on top of RNG
That's true you need to farm a lot but that will only depends if you farm the wrong amorphous materials, I had like 10 blueprints for the king's guard, like wtf? Because I farmed the right ones
Personally riding the hype has been really helpful, especially for getting better at the game. It’s a quick way to find good strategies, pick up useful tips, and find good content creators who make the whole experience better.
I feel you. They should at least add more purple weapons to grind for. The new ultimate weapons are always tied to a new colossus with some wack mechanics.
I would like to see the purples that exist also get some buffs because the yellows are cool but damn even some purples in destiny were preferred more than the exotics for dps and pvp

I didn’t include the fact that I’ve had to start over a handful of times because of different platforms way before cross save was a thing for warframe. Only reason why I have what I have is because I earned it, by grinding or trading up to get the stuff I need, sure this game has less than a years lifespan but man warframe was so different compared to tfd at launch

Did they rebalance the Invasions yet? I've been wanting to get back in the game, but I can't progress in the story because the "tutorial" invasion is impossible with any of my Descendants.
Content ends, theres no live service game that is not VERY GRINDY, that this doesnt happen... And this game grind imo is "easy" to get stuff, which is a good thing, will just be doing catalysts/activators and waiting for more updates, taking it slow. Same for warframe, i was doing just the same, weeklies and formas, i might get back to warframe when 1999 releases. Edit: TLDR: just take a break, and come back in a few months or a year, when there will be probably a lot of things to do, new content, new descendants, guns, etc.
This is legit what I've been doing. I'm getting back on Warframe when 1999 drops, and in TFD, I'm just farming the weapons I want and catalyzing the characters I like and then imma wait till season 2. Is okay to take a break.

i have hours on other looter shooters so i dont need one part of the grind on one game to define me as a player, i think the weapon grind just sucks so i dont want to do it. even so I did the descendant grind so i feel fulfilled in my work
Tbf, the grind has become way easier than what it was on release. Having to do multiple shard runs to be able to open only one amorph and then waiting 5 mins to get a chance at another amorph was annoying. And don't feel bad if you wanna take a break, I do this all the time with warframe.
90+% of the game is just leveling and grinding. There's practically no content. And the item shop is highway robbery. They're headed for the same player base numbers as NA Dungeon Fighter Online. The game was half-baked on release, and the devs don't play the game. Everything points to a cash grab imo.
Maybe it’s end of the season number but 8000 concurrent players on pc compared to the 250,000 is a really big drop. I’m hoping that it does stay alive tho and that everybody is just waiting for s2
If you played til you finished the main story and saw the intentionally bloated grind, you knew the game was not gonna last, as if being developed by Nexon wasn't enough.
looking at steam charts it'S FAR behind both destiny and warframe. as of right now it's 8633 for TFD, 43.179 for warframe and 27.875 for D2 and those are NOT the peak numbers they reached today or this week. warframes peak was at 65k just this day. there really is only so much you can really do with coomer bait i guess. honestly the community doesn't help either. if i for example go to the D2 and WF reddits i get fanart, disscussions and upcoming updates thrown my way, if i go to the TFD sub it's just softcore p*rn. why would anyone want to join that mess, especially if they are a woman.

Experiencing breaks from a game or genre is very healthy thing to do every now and again, because when you experience other games and genres you can either find hey This game did it better or you know that game I played was so much better at this and makes you appreciate the differences between them.
The only other game was destiny but that was after I pumped 2000 hours title hunting in it, surprisingly never felt that way with warframe tho and I have way more hours put into that. I’m tryna tell myself to use this opportunity to play new releases but man I really wanna play tfd 😂

TFD At the moment I am just logging in to collect daily stuff gather some parts to craft Activators and catalyst, After I log into Throne and liberty for a little bit, Then Warframe right now to Get Xaxu prime and weapons. Taking a pause on Destiny 2 until probably a couple of weeks before Act 3 launches to collect the goodies in the pass.
Warframe seems to be leaning into “woke” themes lately. I’m not sure if it’s because of the Canadian developers, as Canada has been known for its strong progressive woke culture, although it seems to be shifting politically toward a more common-sense approach. However, tech and game development often attract woke people, and for some reason, Digital Extremes keeps hiring more individuals with woke nonsense. I distanced myself from Warframe after the “90s” mission, which felt like my limit. I found it off-putting, as it seemed to insert forced LGBTQ+ romance betwen npcs into a game that was initially about edgy, space ninja combat. Warframe seems to be losing its original identity, if it ever had one, it now feels like it’s just focused on delivering a specific kind of woke message.
Yea I hate forced LGBTQ+ relationships, I’d rather it be natural and have a build up with some backstory, now that would make a good romance. But what are these woke people, were they asleep previously?
I abandoned it because the 90s theme meant that they have no idea of what to really do now, and it also seems that Steve always wanted to get Dark Sector out, so it looks like he's inserting Dark Sector into Warframe. To me, it completely derailed the very interesting plotline of the Man in the Wall. About the woke stuff, I always saw it as very tame and acceptable, not inserting it into anything beyond some profile avatars and color palettes. But if it goes into the story itself, I'm out
there is literally nothing woke in 1999. your drifter can just romance the protos from the new hex syndicate. the drifter is also a custom character that can be either made male or female. so they just let the romance scene play out without considering the gender you picked, which is fine. most games with custom characters do. it's less work for the team and lets the playerbase RP as their choosen character. oh and steve is not working on warframe. he hasn't for a while now. why do you think more recent updates have been so successful. he finally moved on to a new project as well as being the new CEO of DE after james stepped down.

To say I want things handed to me is disingenuous to the grind I actually put in getting all the descendants, I never paid for anything except cosmetics and for about 90% of the time I was running solo. I don’t blame you for thinking that I searched up a build for lepic because I did and for some others there’s nothing wrong with that. The build I have is for mobbing which I searched up for and it’s been working good for me, some people also just don’t have the time to find the builds that are good for them. And if it makes it better I did find my own builds on some of my warframes and on destiny. The weapons will take some time but I never struggled with dps so imma keep running with my tamer and if I feel like one of the legendary weapons are better I will switch it out

Grinding for Ults is like playing but not enjoying, without any ult weapon or without investment in any weapon, ofc you are out of things to do. I get that we play as we like to play but I think you took the hype train expecting something or thinking the content FOR ONE SEASON gonna last forever, I'm saying one season but in reality are 2 (pre and 1). You still got S2 coming in next month, sadly you already burn out almost every descendant and I guessing without investing in one to make it your main or something for example, I still have things to build up in my Ult bunny and base Ajax qwq
i enjoyed the grind tbh, its kinda of my reason for staying as long. I wouldnt say burnt out either considering i said in the video that im running out of things to do excluding the weapon grind. There are so many games with huge grinds and large transactions, so it's all if you enjoy the gameplay or not. I'm enjoying TFD a lot more than I did Diablo 4.
Warframe have some things that turn the grind easy. BUT it dont means that the grind on Warframe isnt hard too... Even to put formas and improve space for mods... Farm Endo and things like that... Even comparing Warframe and TFD, both have a hard grind and for me... this is normal... TFD is a new game, and are continuing emprooving the gameplay...

I agree it will never be 'big'. I don't think the devs really know what the game should be; most already left and I don't see the gooner jiggle bringing in more normies. The only people left more or less at this point are the people for which that is a main selling point. I like T&A as much as the next heterosexual male, but the fanservice in the game and the people left playing because of it, are slowly driving me away, even though the QoL the devs are cooking has been great (they are very responsive, to their credit). The subreddit for TFD is cesspit of Freyna ass shot karma farming and people high-fiving themselves over their 1 handed playing skills. The monetization also sucks and unlike most of the young guns these days, I refuse to pay $20+ for a 1-use skin or any amount of $$$ at all for 1 time use paints which are just palate swapping a texture. The grind was fun when I needed that itch to scratch. Now that I scratched it, there is nothing interesting to really do. We will see what season2 brings.

Most of the time I’m not using that character cus every character is made for different tasks. You can use one character for all but like bunny being the best mobber is an understatement. Yeah until they add more actual meaningful content to the endgame & make the grind better im done with this game. They should've spent more time adding things to the endgame but they launched it too early. Season 1 was so meh. And the state of the community is unhealthy. People leaving the match when they see that u aren't using meta shit is fucking aggravating. I genuinely want this game to be the best it can be so it can also give Warframe some competition but it seems like just staying on Warframe is the better option unfortunately.
Yea s1 was so boring compared to s0, maybe cuz it was new at the time but I have to agree like the public matchmaking whether it’s free roam or not is really bad. People purposefully joining an outpost or void reactor at the last second to take credit and get the reward or when you’re trying to sneak an outpost and they get detected because the reward they need doesn’t require sneaking. It’s rough all around and definitely affected my patience and fun for the game

I really enjoyed this game at first, and some friends had me try warframe again since I quit years ago. And man Warframe imo is just better in just about every way and I just can’t see me coming back to TFDS after I just got hooked on 5 years of content I’ve missed on warframe

Relax man. I feel you. I quit warframe coz im burn out. And so I try other game. I play cyberpunk and armored core. Then i play disgaea 2 😂 then i play overwatch. I try TFD and after all that. I was like... This is warframe with booty and tits. I detest it but then i feel wow this ia fun actually. So my advice is. Take a break from the grind. Enjoy other stuff and got back again

So let me recap you burned out of this game technically from grind and you go back warframe for the same tedious grind that this game has ? Warframe, Destiny, Descendant are the same type of game nothing changes grinds are the same some or faster some are slower that's it basically. it's fine to having burn out. It might be me but the way u phrased stuff it sounded way too time consuming for you, while Warframe is the same with the leveling system and forma system taking ages especially with the ability changer thing. Destiny takes a lot of your time to grind the weapon and do raids all games have time consuming parts to keep you in and burn you out the same time ^^
For context I have done the majority of the grind for warframe so I only have some things to do compared to the others, plus 1999 is about to come out so it’s only right to prepare for it
I do like it and still playing it. May be is because Im one of those guys who just married with their mains and stick to them. + season 2 is right next to the corner, is always a thing about the content to play. Of course Warframe will win in a side by side conparison due to 10+ years of advantage.
Ofc, I will still come back for the seasonal content and skin releases but man kinda sucks that I feel like this cuz I enjoyed the game and the grind so much

You can find very good elite weapons, the downside that is you need to grind more to put them modules

I abandoned it because the 90s theme meant that they have no idea of what to really do now, and it also seems that Steve always wanted to get Dark Sector out, so it looks like he's inserting Dark Sector into Warframe. To me, it completely derailed the very interesting plotline of the Man in the Wall.
About the woke stuff, I always saw it as very tame and acceptable, not inserting it into anything beyond some profile avatars and color palettes. But if it goes into the story itself, I'm out

there is literally nothing woke in 1999. your drifter can just romance the protos from the new hex syndicate.
the drifter is also a custom character that can be either made male or female. so they just let the romance scene play out without considering the gender you picked, which is fine. most games with custom characters do. it's less work for the team and lets the playerbase RP as their choosen character.
oh and steve is not working on warframe. he hasn't for a while now. why do you think more recent updates have been so successful. he finally moved on to a new project as well as being the new CEO of DE after james stepped down.

Majority of players work so all the math you did to figure out how long it would take for ALL the weapons is irrelevant. You don’t go for everything you just get what you want.

To say I want things handed to me is disingenuous to the grind I actually put in getting all the descendants, I never paid for anything except cosmetics and for about 90% of the time I was running solo. I don’t blame you for thinking that I searched up a build for lepic because I did and for some others there’s nothing wrong with that. The build I have is for mobbing which I searched up for and it’s been working good for me, some people also just don’t have the time to find the builds that are good for them. And if it makes it better I did find my own builds on some of my warframes and on destiny. The weapons will take some time but I never struggled with dps so imma keep running with my tamer and if I feel like one of the legendary weapons are better I will switch it out

Once I got a bunch of descendants I really wanted I now hop on occasionally for the battle pass, been playing a lot of black ops 6 and grinding for camos
luckily the bp is easy to level up when you're grinding but yea i dont even blame you for playing other things

Grinding for Ults is like playing but not enjoying, without any ult weapon or without investment in any weapon, ofc you are out of things to do. I get that we play as we like to play but I think you took the hype train expecting something or thinking the content FOR ONE SEASON gonna last forever, I'm saying one season but in reality are 2 (pre and 1). You still got S2 coming in next month, sadly you already burn out almost every descendant and I guessing without investing in one to make it your main or something for example, I still have things to build up in my Ult bunny and base Ajax qwq
i enjoyed the grind tbh, its kinda of my reason for staying as long. I wouldnt say burnt out either considering i said in the video that im running out of things to do excluding the weapon grind. I didnt mention it in this video but i have in previous saying lepic and viessa were my mains because of how cool they look and how lepic reminds me of vauban from warframe
game is very easy to get everything, that's a plus for me, I don't want to play a game 24/7

Yea I completely understand, destiny was the one game I was ahead of everybody at but even then I still had to lfg cuz the homies never wanted to go title hunting with me, but yea my whole grind on tfd has been solo and so has warframe so I’m used to it by now
There are so many games with huge grinds and large transactions, so it's all if you enjoy the gameplay or not.
I'm enjoying TFD a lot more than I did Diablo 4.
D4 was such a disappointment, at least when I played meta gaming was the worst thing to happen for my gameplay experience being an ice mage build
Warframe have some things that turn the grind easy. BUT it dont means that the grind on Warframe isnt hard too... Even to put formas and improve space for mods... Farm Endo and things like that... Even comparing Warframe and TFD, both have a hard grind and for me... this is normal... TFD is a new game, and are continuing emprooving the gameplay...
Yea I’m cutting them some slack for that, I also enjoy that they actually listen to the community and make changes because of it. That’s why I’m still hopping on this game because I feel like it can really be something

I enjoyed this game a lot on release but played the hell out of it and grinded everything I wanted and then had nothing to do and I planned to come back but…. Ehhhhh it was fun for the time it lasted but I don’t see TFD being big ever.
For sure, I think the qol updates are really good but it’s definitely lacking content compared to its competitors per seasonal update
I agree it will never be 'big'. I don't think the devs really know what the game should be; most already left and I don't see the gooner jiggle bringing in more normies. The only people left more or less at this point are the people for which that is a main selling point.
I like T&A as much as the next heterosexual male, but the fanservice in the game and the people left playing because of it, are slowly driving me away, even though the QoL the devs are cooking has been great (they are very responsive, to their credit). The subreddit for TFD is cesspit of Freyna ass shot karma farming and people high-fiving themselves over their 1 handed playing skills.
The monetization also sucks and unlike most of the young guns these days, I refuse to pay $20+ for a 1-use skin or any amount of $$$ at all for 1 time use paints which are just palate swapping a texture.
The grind was fun when I needed that itch to scratch. Now that I scratched it, there is nothing interesting to really do.
We will see what season2 brings.

Most of the time I’m not using that character cus every character is made for different tasks. You can use one character for all but like bunny being the best mobber is an understatement.

They should've spent more time adding things to the endgame but they launched it too early. Season 1 was so meh. And the state of the community is unhealthy. People leaving the match when they see that u aren't using meta shit is fucking aggravating.
I genuinely want this game to be the best it can be so it can also give Warframe some competition but it seems like just staying on Warframe is the better option unfortunately.
Yea s1 was so boring compared to s0, maybe cuz it was new at the time but I have to agree like the public matchmaking whether it’s free roam or not is really bad. People purposefully joining an outpost or void reactor at the last second to take credit and get the reward or when you’re trying to sneak an outpost and they get detected because the reward they need doesn’t require sneaking. It’s rough all around and definitely affected my patience and fun for the game

I really enjoyed this game at first, and some friends had me try warframe again since I quit years ago. And man Warframe imo is just better in just about every way and I just can’t see me coming back to TFDS after I just got hooked on 5 years of content I’ve missed on warframe

If you don't give a damn for getting strong or completion , yeah laziness will make you stop . For me , getting strong enough to destroy a Colossi in few seconds worth the grind , we fight for power.
I think my reason is being able to have everything, I like to collect accolades for a sense of accomplishment. Same on destiny, I was title hunting and getting the stuff on the trophy page so I can say I have it

I quit warframe coz im burn out. And so I try other game. I play cyberpunk and armored core. Then i play disgaea 2 😂 then i play overwatch. I try TFD and after all that. I was like... This is warframe with booty and tits. I detest it but then i feel wow this ia fun actually.
So my advice is. Take a break from the grind. Enjoy other stuff and got back again

So let me recap you burned out of this game technically from grind and you go back warframe for the same tedious grind that this game has ? Warframe, Destiny, Descendant are the same type of game nothing changes grinds are the same some or faster some are slower that's it basically. it's fine to having burn out. It might be me but the way u phrased stuff it sounded way too time consuming for you, while Warframe is the same with the leveling system and forma system taking ages especially with the ability changer thing. Destiny takes a lot of your time to grind the weapon and do raids all games have time consuming parts to keep you in and burn you out the same time ^^
For context I have done the majority of the grind for warframe so I only have some things to do compared to the others, plus 1999 is about to come out so it’s only right to prepare for it
