I believe the value "noone" is -4, but "undefined" is not. I just confirmed locally in debug mode. Passing in undefined displays the value "" and passing in noone displays -4
Have they ever fixed the bug where updating a tile set isn’t reflected in the room editor? I was working on a project and realized I needed an additional tile for my level, so I added it to the tile set, updated the image loaded by the tile set, re-loaded the tile set in the room editor, and the new tile never showed up no matter what I did.
@@LetsLearnThisTogether Yeah, I'm wanting to do a Sonic-esque 2D physics game, so it's kind of trial and error to see how many different tiles I need per tileset. That bug pretty much made me put GM down entirely until it's fixed. It was a while back, I believe during the summer, but I did think to check the YoYoGames forums and there were a couple other people who hit the same bug. Those posts were a couple months old already at that point, which didn't make me too optimistic on it getting fixed soon. You'd think something like that would be priority on getting fixed, especially for a beginner-friendly engine where lots of people are going to trial-and-error details on how to best work on a project.
Ah, that makes sense. I couldn’t see why it would matter a lot, but making something like that it would be important. Again, check it out, especially if it was on the forums. They have been killing it with updates lately and fixing a lot of bugs
The coolest new feature? Probably the way that GMS now crashes every. single. day. _without fail_... Given that I last updated in May and have used it DAILY since then and it hasnt crashed once, the latest update is a joke.
Dang man, I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve experienced some of that frustration before and I understand. I hope it can get fixed soon. Just know you can always roll back to an older version by searching for past versions online
Im gonna try the room inspector, it looks really useful
thank you for the content
You’re most welcome
And pointer_null also counts as nullish
This is true. I’ve personally never used pointers in GMS, but they do exist.

Ah, good catch. I mix up which one of those are which
Sir can you make a video how to setup android platform in GameMaker studio 2?
I’ll add it to my list!

That I don’t know, never heard of that particular bug. But I imagine they have, especially if it was a while ago.
