It's a good ride but it's not good bang for buck power wise 15g plus and under 300kw LS1 with a good set of heads cam etc makes these numbers these combo would be a bit of fun but not killer power tyre spinning fun
Yeh but funny that these head & cam ls1's making more power arnt running the times ud expect for it! Oh u cant compare the two in terms of sound no ls1,2,3 sound any where near as good as a holden stroker
Holden motors also have a lot more torque than an ls1 and second gen commodores are alot lighter than ls based commodores so I'd dare say it'd be a lot more fun than an cammed ls1. And the sound oh the sound
Best sounding 8 IMO love the 304/308
I know it was 12 months ago, but damn that is a nice ride - so tractable. Nice job Mark!
That winds out beautifully Mark. Sounds real nice
Purrs along nicely on the road, nice car to take on a cruise
That air filter should pick up some nice cool air from the back of the radiator........
T5 wont put up with that for long.
Tremec 5 speed in this one
+Marks .Workshop would you get more power and fuel economy from putting in a ls

true point, but its money well worth it when it comes to keeping that old dirty Holden V8 sound!

Hands down not even a question i would preffer a 400hp 5litre in a vs over a 500hp 6litre in a ve.
5 litre over ls anyday
