my local theatre is pretty small, and instead of having a curtain it has an electrically controlled roller blind. it can open and close fast, or slow, so is great for curtain calls, and you dont need anywhere to keep it as it is a long roll above the stage! it just says the name of the theatre on as well
That is a good one! I thought about including it, but I felt it was more of a "specialty" for projection screens - I've only seen it in one theatre for that reason. I'm thinking of putting together a couple of those and doing a "specialty rigging" video which would also include a Kabuki Drop.
@@NickAchBackstage Fair, it's not something that is used as much any more. But I know they are used a lot on cruise ships because they don't have a full fly loft.

How can I create the Venetian effect in a double doorway? I want this effect when we are introduced at our wedding reception.
