So did the authors, I guess. :-) They unlocked the last building upon the explosion in the base; you really do need all objectives in that case. But the door is not the only way in.
That's just how the game made - there are several places where soldiers spawn indefinitely. There are often triggers, though. In this level, it is either alarm or climbing the pylon if I am not mistaken.
Its a glitch the enemy will spawn infinite times from the warehouse near the tower. I once killed 50 enemies from warehouse and collected all their ammo:)

We found out that the main problem of the game is "head in the ceiling" by accidentally getting stuck in the ceiling a few times.
This is called sequence breaking. The authors thought it would be impossible to enter the last building before the explosion and put the end trigger on the events inside without a further check. And we took advantage of it by finding a way through the locked door.
There are some videos with the player travelling on the car but I don't exactly remember what happens afterwards. I think it just stops outside the base. Since the cabinets in the last building need to be searched, the car trip would not bring us anything. :-)
You are right. But due to a (probably programming) error, the level can be finished nevertheless. Since we are running the any% ruleset, that is all that counts.

Anyone tell me what keys does he type to jump. I think it isn't the normal jump by typing spacebar
Forward + strafe + jump + mouse to the other side. It is the fastest way as far as our tests went.

Usually, if you keep moving and jumping, tanks have hard time hitting you.
