  • In our opinion, the hike to Willow Hole, which is located in the Wonderland of Rocks region of Joshua Tree National Park, is one of the most rewarding hikes in the park. The trail passes through all of the scenery that Joshua Tree National Park is known for, not only the famous yucca that the park is named after, but all of those beautifully sculptured granite boulders and long desert vistas that has captivated visitors to this park for decades.

You miss-spelled Joshua. Not sure what you're referring to.

@@BackRoadsWest1 I referring to how you pronounced Joshua. :) I've never heard it pronounced that way.

What part of the country are you from? I'm from the Mojave Desert, home of the Joshuuuua Tree, and most people here pronounce it with the So Cal accent that cuts off some vowels.

@@BackRoadsWest1, I'm from Central California. I've never heard anyone pronounce Joshua like this before. ua-cam.com/video/Y3Aj_wdVMlk/v-deo.html Ms. Gisa lives down there, and she says so, too. ua-cam.com/video/-nMGt6K9nzw/v-deo.html 😁

Love your videos, but could you please pronounce Joshua Tree correctly? The "u" is in Joshua for a reason.

Thanks! Where do you live? Maybe they say it differently there. I've lived in the Mojave Desert for 40 years and I've heard plenty of people say Joshua tree the way I do. When I do presentations or talk to people, I've never had anyone correct me. I think it's like tomato or tomato, or perhaps data or data. I'm not aware of any rules out there on how to pronounce Joshua.

Great videos! Any plans to do any videos in the Mt. Lassen area? Or anywhere in the eastern Cascade Range? Thanks

Thank you. Mt. Lassen is a bit far away for us. Have you seen these videos? Our "Oregon Sampler" trip: ua-cam.com/video/oYktidzY5Sw/v-deo.html and our train trip thru Central Oregon: ua-cam.com/video/J5UW3QdM2mQ/v-deo.html
