That was an awesome video! Two things I love the most in life, Germany and Art Supplies!! I'm blown away that your professional art supplies are out on display!! I live in a rough area in NJ and Professional Art supplies are difficult to find, you either have to order them online, or travel to Philadelphia and have a store clerk follow you around and hang over your shoulder because shoplifting is so rampant. And they even gave you a paper bag for your purchase!! I don't see that much around here anymore! I really need to move!! That looks heavenly! Thanks!!
It’s sad that here in the US the few art stores we have need to put things behind lock and key. Posca, tombows, copic markers, acryla gouache, watercolor tubes, open stock pens and pencils are all locked up…. Even in nice areas. 😿
I’ve never seen so much art stock in one place. When my daughter was in art college, I’d buy her supplies. I know it adds up fast. So much fun seeing inside that store. Fun video of your trip! Pretty drawing in book. I liked the water colors too. Nice explanation of how it gives texture.

As I received your comment I was editing the third art supply shopping in Aachen video. This has gotten out of hand, I need to visit other places, haha!

Hey fellow Dutchie! (Misschien zelfs Limburgse?). Have you ever been to Schleiper in Liege? I recently heard from my art teacher, that this store is nice as well. I live close to both Aachen and Liège, but haven’t been to either store yet. Adding this one to my “to visit list”.😊

What a beautiful art supply store; I love art store tours! You picked up such a nice selection of items 😊. I bought those little Hahnemuhle sketchbooks also, they are the perfect size to slip in a bag or small pencil case with travel supplies. I also like the little mono zero mechanical erasers. I can’t seem to visit an art store without picking up a few watercolour paints, I’m sure I would have found several in that shop to buy, it looks like they had everything 😅. Enjoy all your lovely new supplies!!

Next time you are in Aachen you should visit "Junghans Wolle" at the Krefelder Str. It is not in the City Center but worth a visit!
