Balatro is such a fascinating game. Changing the joker pool and adding some new packs and boss blinds completely changed how you approach the game. I'm super excited for this week's demo, and any content that comes from it.
i was part of a round of testing a few months ago, on what i would have considered an almost finished product, and i played it for 50 hours
And they added so much new stuff
i'm excited
I genuinely think that Balatro would benefit from different "dealers" who give you different pools of jokers, vouchers, and the like. I never got super invested in Dicey Dungeons, but one thing the game did really well was making "episodes" so that the randomness of what you found never felt overwhelming. @@DarkAngelZz59

I love this game, glad to see it back on the channel. Put an unreal amount of time into the last demo LOL. Hope Frost gets some good content out of the demo after release, too.

Also, this is kinda out of the blue, but I remember you once did a video where you and Andrew answered questions about your life/work. Could we see another of those videos soon? I have some questions I would love to ask both you and Andrew about the industry but I'm not what the best place to ask is.

I'm so excited for the upcoming public demo/beta on Jan 25th, as well as the eventual full release!
i came into stream in the last couple of hours, where we'd picked an optimal strategy and were reseting runs constantly super interesting to see the discover phase of the game
Wow that skip blind = money and free everything on the shop happening TWICE was such a fun playground to see, ty frost and andrew for this entertaining video, and thanks localthunk for the game, can't wait to play it!

Tho I think, *pushes glasses up* I think you should have the x2 at the end so it triggers last so you get the most amount doubled as opposed to triggering first.

My brother in Christ that is not how math works. N x 1.5 x 2 is the same as N x 2 x 1.5. It's the communitive property of multiplication you learned this in elementary school mate.

They're all multipliers, so the math should work out the same either way. If he had any +mult stuff active though you'd be correct.

They're just different "Decks" in this game frost just calls it character. It was shown.
