Hi Chris , Exactly , air in , Bernoulli principle , fuel dragged in , mixture needle , float . Carbs / mixers pretty simple things really . Just LEGO for adults 😊
Thanks Buddy , Brevity due to not requiring more intervention . It may be a good idea however to change that spring . I have an outboard spring attached to a mount hole on the arm ,but a clocked spring is certainly more tidy .
Nice job, as always. It always amazes me that the basic design of a carb hasn't really changed all that much over the decades.

Great video of a basic NH refresh!

love the musical sound byte for entry
Can you name it ? 😊
I usually cut off the modern brass hose fitting and silver solder it to the original inlet nut. It’s much smaller and looks better when on the car.
Neat. Have never seen an easy out used for removing a valve seat.
Well , next was going to be to clamp it in the mill and slowly remove material until I could collapse it and just pick it off the threads
Nice Video Mate. Nicely explained 👍
🎵Carburetors man ..that's what life's about 🎶 😁
I still prefer their simplicity over injectors and controllers that need an interface to modulate them
Nice explaintion on the carb I have taken a carb appart very similar to this one. I suppose they all look the same.😅
Thanks for stopping in buddy .
Yep ,. Lots of similarities ,, lol mostly with a lawn mower ! 😂
Looks like the spring on your choke flap is broken...any need to repair?
Already did 👍😊
