I am just so amazed at how strong an individual you are and have become since David Foster "plucked you out of obscurity" as you said, Josh. And where do you find the energy to do all that you do with the foundation and other charities that you're passionate about in addition to making music and appearing on about every talk show out there?...thank God for David Foster. You are blessed not only in talent but in strength of character...you are amazing.

He is so right about what he says. Arts make a well rounded individual, they make you appreciate life in a much broader spectrum and apply so many virtues to share with others. It's so sad to see that when a school , especially high schools start having financial difficulties, the arts are the first to get kicked out. The arts are an essential part of life, to appreciate it as such. Has anyone seen the new model of school system in Finland? Kids attend school only 3 to 4 hours daily, and arts is an essential part of their teaching . The thing is, they have been found to be superior students with much better knowledge of many things, including math, compared to other first world countries in Europe that still carry on with the traditional school method. I live in another country, not the U.S. , and , as a teacher in a very low income elementary school, I have seen that more than 90% of my students enjoy class and learn more when I incorporate some kind of artistic activity. So I will add my small grain to this decaying world that has already lost so much of its humanity. A great kudos to Josh Groban!!! One more reason to keep on loving him .

Amen! Thanks for your love of music and to speak out on the importance of the arts, like Whitney Huston said without music in the home there's not love. Correct music will bring joy and exposed to the arts can develop character qualities, and principles. I applaud those that are teaching us the real music to be integrated in our being be better persons and helping to do away with anxiety and depression also, medical mental therapy that changes your lives. I thank you for helping me get back on track that I have been off of since 1999. Since finding you my life has been revised and my eyes have been open. My heart, soul, and spirit are in alignment and I am in a better place in my life in these past 6 to 8 months. I had basically given up and its amazing how that does affect your body, I shut down, lost to 100 pounds my body organs were shutting down also, after a stay in the hospital only one compassionate physician that I known for years gave me good advice. Instead of just deal with it and manage it until I die at 59 years old. Thanks Josh, I found you in 2018, and you have turned my life around. I wish I could see you in concert in October. God Bless your tour, keep your heart on track. Love you

Impressive both in content and more importantly, intent. There has been a decline in arts programs over the years. Hopefully, this was an 'approved'. When I think of my own intro to the arts, it was initially within the school system early (Elementary: Art Painting; JHS: musical instruments; and in HS: band, theatre, singing/chorus, and dance were all available as electives, amongst others to students). Having these available can/does much to further development of all children.
