    I know a guy from Texas who invented a hydraulic pipe wrench. It spun in either direction at around 300 rpm. You just had to change the grip teeth for various size pipes.
    They mounted it on the back of a pump hoist truck for pulling water pumps. We pulled 4 inch 300 feet tubing in less than 1 hour.

    Should be doing it vertically, thats where you work stuck joints.

    Or.. hear me out… use a 24 pipe wrench for those hard to get fittings

    That's a neat tool but it could have been done with two regular pipe wrenches several times over before you even had the thing assembled.

      It's purpose is to avoid using that method because it's so dangerous on a wellhead. For that it's brilliant!

      When you need it, YOU NEED IT. There is no alternative for difficult joints that need a lot of power. Sometimes there is no other way to get the power needed in a small space. I don't care if you have two gorillas nearby, it's not going to be enough.
