This should give anyone interested in the sketchyphysics plugin for sketchup a heads up building a working car. Check out the last few seconds of the video !
Click on the PLUGIN tab on the menu bar and click on CREATE DEFAULT SCENE. A flat box will appear that objects will not fall through. It could also be you haven't made your box (track) into a component. If this is the case highlight the box. Then RIGHT click on your mouse and click on MAKE A COMPONENT in the menu You will need to make the component static so RIGHT click on your mouse on your box and in the sketchyphysics part at the bottom of the menu click on SHAPES and select STATIC MESH
i dont get this i have the plugin and when i got up to the first tyre thing i got stuck how did u make the tyre come out like that in an instant mine is in 4 parts and that box wasnt around it and i made it as a component and it doesnt work
i dont understand how i have to build its because it dont work my thinks always fall through the other things and the and this turn around thing stay in the air :'(
help pls!... my object not moving ... i did everything that u said.... but when the obj touch down to floor it not moving.....i made floor same like you.... when u make the body object static & then try to move the wheel its working & moving properly.... but in touchdown he not move...what i do??
how do you combine the two radius into the wheel? move cpy then edit the group and pull the quads out then move the verts till they snap on? cool vid btw

press th UI button while the joint is selected, and there should be a box that says "controller", in the box, just say speed or whatever
